I consider it more like if an idea got out that radium is a cure all and its effectiveness was widely believed in. And then more begin dismissing it as quackery and strongly advising against it.

And when it persists after being discredited by that "final" decision, they start going after the remnant proponents. The proponents will feel silenced even though it might be people sick of their overt stupidity.

If that's what you need to believe they can only stop you if you're a public official, celebrity, teacher, Healthcare worker, scientist, or someone wants an excuse to get rid of you.

It's messed up. But majority rules usually are. Society has always been lie enforcement. Sometimes the wacky consensus lies people are forced to believe last 2000 years and cost millions of lives.

It sucks when it happens, but I don't think these lies are lasting 2000 or even 1000 years.

Here's why not:

Because in your quest to save people from the dangers of misinformation (as you call it) you create a tyrannical government.

If you look at history, maybe there's a case here and there about individual people following bad advice but that's NOTHING - not even close to the millions and millions of people tortured and killed under tyrannical governments using the excuse they are only trying to help society.

Not one of these evil governments came out and said "hey we are evil", they all used we are only trying to help excuse.

And newsflash, there have been plenty of times experts have been totally wrong. If we all followed your ethics we would still be considering homosexuality and epilepsy mental illnesses. Sugar would still be totally ok, blacks would still be slaves and women would never vote.

All well and good but I can't help notice the way the media and
the UK gov. have already convicted him. It almost seems like they
know there isn't going to be any trial. So it gets pushed thru the
court of public opinion where they can never loose. Obviously all
they're doing is trying to shut his ass up. Because they can't stand
hearing him bust out the truth to the world. They can't handle
a guy knowing they're plans and being able to articulate them
as well as Brand.

Caroline Dinenage was the lady who sent the letter to youtube and Rumble. She wrote on letter headed paper as it were, but didn't clear it with the committee to which she is a representative of. Apparently this is a breach of the Ministerial Code. This code was introduced to stop 'bent' politicians pulling 'fast ones'. Crooked as they come is an understatement.

Not that it makes any difference really now as the damage has been done.........
