WASHINGTON — Ray Epps, a Jan. 6 participant whose removal from the FBI's Capitol Violence webpage sparked conspiracy theories that he was a federal informant, was charged in connection with the Capitol attack on Tuesday.
Epps is charged with one misdemeanor count, disorderly or disruptive conduct on restricted grounds. He was charged by information, which suggests that he plans to enter a plea deal.

Was there not enough video evidence of inciting an insurrection, or at least a breach of the Capitol.

Regardless of his lawsuit, he should be charged no differently then the proud boys, especially the one who wasn't even there. Ray Epps is forever immortalized on the silver screen for his actions that day and the day prior. He should get no less than 18 years. Don't you agree, or are you also a fan of 2 sides of justice?

I'm sure this will do nothing to quell the conspiracy theories surrounding Epps.
That said, he has now been charged for his actions on J6 and it sounds like he will be taking a plea deal.
The charges sound in line with most of the J6 cases, barring those where there's physical evidence of the defendant committing assault.

Personally, I think all those that participated should get felonies, all 1100 and more of them.
Yeah, he's only responsible for a large part of what happened that day,

The vast majority of J6 defendants spent no time in pretrial detention.
Yeah, he's only responsible for a large part of what happened that day,
He was meeting with Team Trump in the months leading up to the event? He put together a plan with multiple other people that would've seen protesters take over the Capitiol and then launch strikes from the against other government buildings? He's the one that organized the protest at the Capitol?
