Recently, the College of Psychologists in Ontario ordered Jordan B. Peterson — a clinical psychologist, professor of Psychology at the University of Toronto and best-selling author — to undergo “professional coaching.” His sin? Tweeting opinions the college deemed “unbecoming of a psychologist.” Here, Peterson explains to The Post what he said, why he was right — and why it was imperative he speak out

So Jordan Peterson has to go through 'professional coaching' to reconsider his views and ideas and start to think 'properly' if he doesn't want to lose his licence as a clinical psychologist. In a few words he must get the right political views or else he gets cancelled!!

This is what he said although the article is rather long but worth reading it.

I am likely to soon lose my license to practice as a clinical psychologist in my home province of Ontario, in the Canada whose historically prosaic internal politics should by all reasonable standards still be off the international radar.

Why? A variety of charges have been brought against me by the administrative board granted government mandate to protect the public from misbehavior on the part of the practitioners of my profession.

What are those charges — pertaining to attitudes and actions that have caused unproven harm to others and brought hypothetical disgrace upon the practice of psychotherapy itself — all brought forward, by the way, by individuals who were never my clients?

Why Jordan Peterson is about to be cancelled

1) Two charges stem from direct criticisms against the 🤡 clown with name Justin Trudeau. You can't obviously criticise a communist who pretends to love democracy.

2) One charge stems from a judgemental comment against the former chief of staff Gerald Butts who resigned in 2019. Peterson has fiercely criticised him in the past.

3) Another one comes from a comment about the diverse “identity” claimed by an Ottawa city councillor with an unacceptable and provocative attitude against the Canadian Trucker Convoy.

4) Believe it or not there is a charge in relation to a discussion on a 3-hour podcast with Joe Rogan where Peterson criticised the current unreliable climate and economic models that give rise to the tyrannical international order.

5) One charge about his comment on body positivity where Peterson refused to accede to the hypocritical woke insistence that an obese cover model was in fact a fit and beautiful athlete.

6) You can guess what is the criticism that infuriated the woke crowds and for which Peterson is persecuted. Yep! You guessed well!
Criticisms of the 'trans affirmation' surgery.

They want to cancel him and he could lose his license as a clinical psychologist for his very legitimate political opinions and criticisms of the radical left ideology and woke culture. What has triggered such reaction is a number of criticisms but the one that riled up the woke crowd are his comments and moral stance on the trans butchery as he says.

Peterson is a hero for taking on the woke left and never relenting. He was on the front lines fighting when the leftist loons launched their attack on sanity. He also never misses a chance to bash that asshole Trudeau.

Peterson is very wealthy these days, and he could just go lie on a beach, but he's still fighting the good fight.

One of his best debates, imo, was with a leftist woman who challenged him on left vs. right ideologies. He replied that when the right goes too far, they'll make claims that certain groups of people are superior to others. (Which he denounced strongly) He then said that you can't tell when the left goes too far, because they never stop. They abandon reality. They demand the world be changed to fit their whims. Change the laws, change the language, change everything. Just tear it down. Never mind that they haven't come up with any reasonable alternative. They don't think things through.

It was only a matter of time before they Canceled him.

He represents the exact opposite of what the Communist want , so either he will be reconditioned or destroyed .

Its really sad that academia has been moving away from the encouragement of multiple perspectives and ideas. At the heart of academia is college; which has been a place for questioning the status quo and looking at the world through multiple schools of thought.

Moving away from this because certain ideas cause "harm" is stupid. There will be no expansion of thought if we're afraid of ideas and perspectives.

I think that nails it on the head. "The left never stops". I'm fairly liberal and was all for the initial push to accept LGBTQ, women's rights, differn't lifestyles, social programs, and examining racism in America. However, in each of these categories (and more) the left just kept going and going to the point where they don't want free speech unless you believe exactly what they do.

Prime example would be the BLM movement. It started for good reason and was a sensible movement. Then they started burning places down and very few in media and democrats called them out for. Even Biden called BLM a peaceful ideology that is against racism. They shut down any criticism which just leads to further and further extremes.

Left wingers have let the far-left run rampant and lead the way.

I have a feeling that the pendulum will eventually swing back and everyday people will just stop voting democrat because they can no longer support a party that allows the extremists to dictate what is real and what we should think.

Liberals everywhere avoid the truth and reality like the plague.

I am torn between thinking it’s a mental illness or just plain stupidity.

It's very true!
There is no barrier in the amount of unsubstantiated claims by the radical left in which you can't really say whether they believe them or not or just stick to them just for the sake of their ideology. They abandon reality and believe others need to affirm their delusions and dogma.

A large number of people who are traditionally left wing are not fond of the woke culture or the LGBTQ+ propaganda. These things can be attributed to the radical left that sometimes tries hard to involve everyone else (from the left) to join and support their claims.

He can't get destroyed.
He has destroyed every woke arguments that had been made so far. He may not be able again in Canada to practise (as he is a clinical psychologist) but in many US States he will be very welcome.

Everybody over the age of 12 should be required to read Orwell's 1984 and right a book report on it. Preferably before November 2024.

Dr. Jordan Peterson has lost his challenge of the College of Psychologists of Ontario’s directive to undergo a social media training program to keep his license to practice psychology in the province.

On Wednesday, an Ontario court ruled against Peterson, who filed for a judicial review of the college’s mandate, arguing that his political commentary on social media was not under the college’s purview.

The college ordered Peterson to undergo social media training on professionalism following complaints it received regarding his comments about transgender actor Elliot Page, certain politicians and a plus-size model.

Last November, the college ordered Peterson complete a specified continuing education or remedial program (SCERP).

The college’s complaints committee alleged Peterson’s public statements amounted to professional misconduct.

They're not dumb, they're deeply broken children who never had to grow up before the world treated them as adults.

I don't think people will take it as an instruction book. But it's definitely an eye opener.

This is rather old news. The dispute went to court and a decision was given on Aug 23.

Three Ontario Divisional Court judges unanimously dismissed Peterson's application, ruling that the college's decision falls within its mandate to regulate the profession in the public interest and does not affect his freedom of expression.

"The order is not disciplinary and does not prevent Dr. Peterson from expressing himself on controversial topics; it has a minimal impact on his right to freedom of expression," the decision written by Justice Paul Schabas reads, in part.

Peterson had said his statements were not made in his capacity as a clinical psychologist, but instead were "off-duty opinions" — an argument the court rejected.

"Dr. Peterson sees himself functioning as a clinical psychologist 'in the broad public space' where he claims to be helping 'millions of people,"' Schabas wrote. Source

As far as I know, he still has his licence, and all he has to do to keep it is pay for and attend a short training course. Humiliating but hardly a cancellation.

As for being cancelled by woke activists, he burned that bridge behind him a long time ago.
