I just want to remind all the mouth breathers on the left, "NOBODY IS ABOVE THE LAW, NOT EVEN THE PRESIDENT".
That’s true, but I just want to remind all the mouth breathers on the right that an impeachment hearing isn’t a judicial proceeding. An impeachment is a process prescribed by the Constitution, not by federal law, so your statement seems to be a non-sequitur.

Just in case anyone has forgotten, this X quote by Byron York reminds us...
“On October 15, 2019, three weeks after unilaterally declaring an impeachment inquiry, Speaker Pelosi, backed by Adam Schiff, insisted there was no requirement to hold an authorizing vote and she would not hold an authorizing vote.”
A CNN article from 10-15-2019 reported Nancy saying...
“There’s no requirement that we have a vote so at this time we will not be having a vote and I’m very pleased with the thoughtfulness of our caucus with the path that we are on,” Pelosi said in news conference Tuesday evening, following a meeting with her caucus.
Now in 2023, McCarthy returns the favor...
Now, the Democrats are getting their just deserts. As Pelosi so flippantly dismissed McCarthy’s formal request for an impeachment inquiry vote back then, McCarthy is now doing the same to the former speaker and her Democratic counterparts. President Joe Biden’s fate is now at the mercy of a Republican majority.
Source
Some around these parts have insisted their needs to be a house vote for an impeachment inquiry. If you hold to that, you must admit Nancy and Adam were wrong, or you must admit it's only okay if the democrats do it.
Not that Joe is in any real danger from this impotent 118th congress, but what's good for the goose...

I am a LEFTIST ON ATS. I see things that I dont agree with and/or know is untruthful daily. Just on this ONE site among many I visit.
EDIT (why is it always assumed you only visit CNN and MSNBC when you challenge something that goes against a right-wing talking point?)EDIT
So riddle me this, why are you seeing them only in Democratic controlled cities and states?
Because I see the same things in the GOP controlled state I live in.
And your list doesn't resemble the world, it resembles your personal world view and bias.

Just let them enjoy a thread.
They already know this is illegal and the DoJ found Pelosi's actions illegal and she had to pursue a vote. They already know this, it's already been discussed, right here on ATS. Just don't engage and let them enjoy it.

Conventional wisdom in Washington tends to treat impeachment as a fringe crusade, on a par with campaigns by antifluoridation activists or UFO enthusiasts, and views Pelosi as right to resist this momentum.

Why should anyone of us play by the rules when the evil left obviously isn't?

Because we're better than they are.
At the same time, if we don't play down and dirty, we may not win this war.

Seriously dig yourself out of what ever media hole you are in and expose yourself to more sources. Most of your points are half-truths spread so thin by partisanship they dont even resemble the world around us.
Seems reasonably accurate to me. Maybe you should expose yourself to more sources?
I do expose myself to other outlooks and sources, that's why I am still trawling around ATS's Live feed which is more or less a GOP spam feed.
ATS was not like this in the past but thats a story for a different time.
