The issue is McCarthy has not had the votes to authorize the impeachment inquiry and many of the moderate Republicans don't want to go on the record with their vote.

Republicans like to fight amongst themselves it makes it difficult for them to show a united front and further their agenda.
Democrats are almost militant in holding their rank and file in line; it does help them further their agenda but it walks them down a fascist/totalitarian path.
I don't know which is better or worse.

you ask the wrong questions. You should be asking why the fake POTUS working for foreign agents refuses to entertain any kind of discussion about bringing down national spending. Will not even consider it. Why don't you ever ask that question?

I’m giving him kudos for his current efforts to stop the speaker’s gaslighting, lying, and cheating. And to make him do things he promised to do 8 months ago.
Sorry, you don’t get to dictate the terms of the discussion. Or redefine any words. Or announce any overarching truths. The mothers milk and manna of the lefty, lol.

McCarthy can't do anything, he's literally being held hostage by the nutjobs on the far right of the Republican Party. Remember how many votes it took for him to finally get his dream job as Speaker? He has a tiny majority that's going to start to diminish once Santos gets kicked out for lying like a cheap rug. So far he has achieved exactly.... *checks notes* diddly/squat. Almost nothing of consequence has been passed and frankly I'd be amazed if anything will be in the year and a bit he has until the next election.

Not only is there the looming Santos issue but Chris Stewart is resigning. Then we also have to wonder if there will be any repercussions for Bobo getting to third base in a theater.
