Romney Gets It

Say what we will about this guy I think he has just made a much needed statement.

He says he will retire and not seek re-election in 2024. And say what we will about his chances for winning or not, the position he has made is one that needs to be held as a standard among those who seek public office.

I think we will get younger folks in near 2028 hopefully. If we make it to then that is.

Trump=well it's Trump and comes with his own baggage of retribution. Not good and extremely dangerous considering his hard-core base wants the left locked up and or put down.

That's tough. Do you (and he) really want things to change?

18-29 year olds are 64% pro-choice vs. 29% pro-life, 30-49 year olds are 56% to 41%.

That same trend tracks with LGBT issues, irreligiousity, and socialism. All connected issues. If the younger politicians reflect the younger demographic political view, all hope for traditional Americana is dwindling, and largely dependent on preventing young people from gaining power.

That, or forcibly trying to change 25 year olds from being 2/3 pro choice, pro LGBT, pro secular humanist, and even pro socialized healthcare.

How would one go about doing that? It is too late to reeducate them, so I think if one criminalized their views while they still retain power, they could at least prolong the inevitable as long as The Supreme Court advantage is held.

I actually agree 100% with Romney, I must have just left the irony filter on.

I don't think age is that big a deal, provided the person is lucid. There are some senior citizens in the Congress that are very sharp mentally.
On the other hand, there are younger members like AOC, who are not only stupid, they're crazy.

The scumbags need to be weeded out, regardless of age. Sadly, it's not happening.

For starters I am a republican Razor. I just happen to see how Trump fractures everything he comes across. Ya know divide and conquer. Not my fault you fell for it that's on you.
I've never heard any lib say they want the right dead or locked up. I have seen many say Trump should be locked up and the key tossed. But Trump isn't faithful to any one person let alone a party except for himself and himself alone. And if you think he would use you as fodder then again thats on you.

Yes. I agreed with you on Pelosi too.

It applies to Biden too. If he had made it plain at the beginning of his term that he wasn't going to run again, a decent primary slate could have been formed.

But I guess it goes against the grain to be perceived as a mere 1 term President.
