Actually you may be surprised. Russian tanks are notoriously known for keeping the ammo right behind the cannon and under the turret. So when they get hit from a dropped munitions on the top it pops off. They are now not going to design them that way now that drones are being to widely used.

There was a peace deal in place that would have prevented this war (there were in fact 2 of them over a number of years). The west and Ukraine lied and used the time to militarise. There was a peace deal inked between Russia and the Ukraine in April '22 when the Russians started moving their troops back to keep to their part. Then US poodle BoJo was sent to sabotage it and the media pretended the Russians were falling back because they were losing.

Ukraine gave away it's sovereignty in 2014 and became a US puppet. Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians have already died in the name of US neocon ideology and geopolitics.

If dementia addled neocon warmonger Biden said stop the fighting, that is indeed what would happen. The rest is in your fevered imagination.

Although it might take a lot to convince the Russians regarding any treaty, as the west have lied about every one so far.

ps. These facts are easily verifiable. Merkel (and others involved) openly said they had no intention of honoring the Minsk agreements, instead using them in bad faith to buy time to militarise the Ukraine. We have leaked phone calls with US officials choosing Ukraine's leadership. Putin actually supplied the signed draft peace treaty with the Ukraine (that was ended by the west) to African leaders.
