Bill Maher Compares Woke Progressives to the KKK

Bill Maher was interviewed and he gave his opinion about 'woke' people, and it wasn't good. He said they have a fixation on race that is similar to the KKK, seeing race everywhere and in everything, instead of being colorblind like a true liberal would be. He said the woke are fixated on identity which is very true. With the woke, everyone has to have an identity label ... black, white, straight, gay, TRANS, phobic, victim, etc etc .. and a definition of what that label means according to the woke people (a definition that is hardly ever factual or true). "Woke" aren't liberals, they are their own breed.

"Woke" or "I am awake" .. is arrogant, dysfunctional, tone deaf, almost always wrong, and plain old crazy, IMHO.

I do disagree with him that Obama tries not to see race. "That's how white people will do you" Obama is NOT colorblind.

Bill Maher has slammed woke progressives again - this time arguing they are not like 'colorblind' liberals, and instead have a fixation on race that is comparable to that of the KKK.

He argued that, while liberals like former democratic presidents Barack Obama and John F Kennedy aim to to not see race at all, today's progressives are extremists who are obsessed with identity.

'[Wokes] believe race is first and foremost the thing you should always see everywhere, which I find interesting because that used to be the position of the Ku Klux Klan.'

'You can be woke, with all the nonsense that that now implies, but don’t say that somehow it’s an extension of liberalism. Because it’s most often actually an undoing of liberalism,' Maher explained.

'You can have your points of view and your positions on these things but don’t try and piggyback on what I always believed, as liberals do for example, in a colorblind society.

'That the goal is to not see race at all, anywhere for any reason.'

KKK is pro abortion because 70% of the babies murdered are black.

Progressives are pro-abortion.

Obama was even worse, being multiracial, white, arabic and african black. White grandma really loved and cared for him, yet his hatred of whites was inherited from his colonial Kenyan father. Interestingly enough, it was the UK that was the version of white that was in Obama's roots. Maybe he would have grown up to be the UKs problem if the white side of his heritage wasn't American. But he transfered that anti-empirialism into his feelings and objectives for the US.

He wasn't good for us at all, never had our interests, and feels no loyalty to the US. Ironically, he fell into the very group that the 'natural born' requirement was designed for, those with the British Empire's roots.

Race is a complex matter that the left will always use to whip up division and votes.

It is interesting that for the past several years the liberals, progressives, and political leftists have insisted everyone:

1. Judge people first by the color of their skin, one MUST notice it and pay close attention because it tells you if they are over-privileged people worthy of condescension; or oppressed, must get government help and patrony to get anywhere in life.

According to the political left skin color and race also tells you if they can be classified as a slave or not, black=ancestors were legal slaves and must get reparations: Hispanic can not be enslaved because they are not black and slavery isn't legal (even though 10 million are enslaved in the US today) and their slavery must be ignored because most are brought in illegally across the southern border.

Liberals are race obsessed to the point where the ladies of the view said almost no black man could do what Tim Scott did again (rise from single parent poverty to Governor, Senator).

2. Secondly, liberals are gender identity obsessed and demand one find out the gender identity of all persons one interacts with.
Everyone MUST celebrate and cheer for, and march in pride parades in honor of anyone who is not cis-gender.
Liberals demand you ask everyone's preferred pronoun and use it, least they demand you be fired from your job if you accidentally use the wrong pronoun.

The left also insists one must agree with them regarding these matters at all times and in all places - OR ELSE. Liberals will get them fired/destroy their business, social media destroy them, destroy their reputation. We see this constantly from liberals, progressives, and the political left.

The farther left a person/politician is the more extreme they are in demanding everyone follow their dictates on how to behave, speak and think. I think they are much more like the KGB than like the KKK because they believe in enforcing their thought/speech rule of the day.

How oppressed POC are is harped on 24/7-how it's nearly impossible for a black person to succeed, only because of white supremacy. It's no surprise the victim mentality wins; just think of what would happen if all POC heard about was the great successes of black people throughout the ages, or opportunities offered to them only, just because of their skin color?

Do you expect less, the democrat party was called the KKK party in their humble beginnings, as various prominent KKK members were confedered and democrats.

The party has reversed their believes in modern time to try to erase their links, now they use racism to compensate for their short comings.

It seems these days, racism sells like hot cakes, along with gender and other issues been use to keep the people busy and obfuscated.

The motto seems to be, "you either get in our bandwagon or we will brand you for life" interestingly they are not the majority of Americans, but as usual people rather shut up to keep leaving in their personal la la land, where nothing will touch them as long as they ignore the issues.

What reality or should I say alternate reality are you folks in? Truly? You're really out there, way way out there. Everything is "woke" to you if you don't understand it, you don't even get " woke". Hm I guess they're the same in the sense they obsess over non 'white' people, but for drastically different reasons.

The KKK for the most part just want non white people to leave America, the woke liberals just want to overly protect them and blame it on systemtic racism.

The KKK is also just an American thing, whereas "woke" culture is a western thing as a whole nowadays.
