She walked over to the hour glass filled with sun rays. Honey dripped from the top to the bottom and coated the invisible walls
that keep it bound in the strict rule. She turned it over to set it again to the beginning…creating all places and things once more.
It was time that had kept her away from her soul for 51 years. She hated time and decided that it should be no more...putting on her red cowboy boots,
she swaggered over to the hourglass. Kicking it with the heel of her boot, it shattered, and the time honey dripped out onto the Dark Matter Highway,
a place that holds all possible realities.
She watched as the highway became infused with the universe. It was alive with brilliant, blue luminescent light. She began to walk, her red cowboy
boots gently tapping on the surface and making blue luminescent boot prints as she faded into the darkness...
As she worked her way deep into the blue sunset her imagination went wild. Her red cowboy boots turned the road into a social haven where she saw
small people with tinted pink eyes. Her voice screamed a sound of words no one has ever seen. Her moments of time in her pretty soul revealed the true
thoughts from worlds away.
She decided to dye her red boots gold to help brighten the planet of where the souls lived. The souls cried out chilling words from the gold light,
and poof the boots returned to their beautiful dark red color of time. Now nothing but the roads of life mattered to this beautiful girl.
Mavericka veered off the highway again onto a lane in a town of one of those spherical planets which gains nourishment for its surface inhabitants
from the warm spherical star that it orbits. She strode through the door of a tavern about the same time that a couple came in the back door, closer
to the bar.
Upon recognizing the female member of the couple, the bartender said, "Wait. Lift up your jacket. Now turn around. Okay." Once a table was found to
sit at, the male said in hushed tones "What was that? Did you flash your gun around in here or something?" The female shrugged. "You do know,"
responded the male "what concealed means don't you?"
Stepping back onto the highway, red boots resuming their golden glow, she resumed her journey.
For however much she doubled her march, the darkness supervened her relentlessly, revealing the trail of luminous footsteps that betrayed her
progress. The No Man’s Land that separated the realm of the Amber Nectar and her previous abode, was maleficent, transforming the ensuing pink-eyed
genteel munchkins into blood red eyed soulless owls. Stealthily, they flew fast and low, tracking Mavericka’s neon wake.
She upped the tempo to escape the rapacious birds of prey. She knew not what fate lay in store for her had those zombiesque feathered devils caught up
with her. Perhaps they hankered after the red boots that had set them free; maybe they were appointed by the Hourglass Overlord to return her to the
honeycomb source for retribution and re-assimilation.
Unconceivable and ludicrous thoughts she quelled, pushing forward faster still. Finally, the deep blue sunset at her back gradually turned evergreen,
then tawny and finally, the deep crimson that designated her final destination… Mavericka was home, but which home?
She stepped back onto the highway, having left what she thought of as The Crystal Realm; all life in various shapes, sizes and colors; crystalline
based. The vocalized music without breath was quite extraordinary; interweaving melodies melding into perfect harmony….
