as an outsider, I think the biggest reason that there is still all this going on and people not accepting it is because they refused to look into the allegations of fraud from the start.
It doesn't matter who won as long as it was won fairly and if there is any doubt at all about fraud then it should be looked into by a team of people who are from all sides of the political spectrum and a final and inconclusive report should be presented to the public.

If there was any fraud at all then that undermines the very foundation that our society runs on and the refusal to do a transparent investigation (and sometimes outright refusal and destruction of evidence that would prove guilt or innocence) make people question the official narrative. sure we would still have some people questioning it but that crowd would be a lot smaller than it currently is now.

my stance on this would not change if Biden had lost and was saying it was due to fraud. to uphold our current structures we need to take them seriously and investigate thoroughly.

and we can comment on their culture given the people we've had run and continue to run ours..

I have just as much contempt for our political 'leaders' and the system they represent as I do the USA's.

Its a rather pitiful situation we are all in.

I would be thrilled to be dealing with Trumps “failure” right about now.

Natural gas and water bill have gone up around 30% here. Gasoline $4.00 a gallon. Grocery prices have gone out of site. Older folks I work with have had to hold off retiring due to taking such a hit on their 401ks ( talking 250k to 400k losses)

Presidents don't control gas prices, you know... and the reason they got very low during Trump's admin was Covid meant almost nobody was driving. 635 here in Dallas was actually driveable during that time period.

To tell a lie so easily debunked is just silly. No presidents don't control gas prices, but their actions can have an effect on them. Like ramping up domestic production and exporting more than we import. Please don't DERP like this.

truly is.. and the really sad part is we have been here before in terms of opening door to the extremes. it feels far to ironic nearly cyclical that the last pivot came with the death of a bloated and corrupted new liberalism in 1923/24.

as a concerned grandparent I'm just worried who will end up being our Mussolini, Hitler or Starlin.. all of those at that point had their adulation..

Hitler was sentenced for his part in the beer hall putsch of 23 and in 24, Starlin became leader in 24, Mussolini ruled from 1922, Churchill returned to Westminster in a new party in 24 and straight in as chancellor.

lots of pivot points that mirror both periods..

If he had proof he legally won the election, why would he sit on that after he's spent all this time crying about it?

Because it can be probable in a court of law this way.

DERP

Monday isn’t the court date. And I believe there were many chances for that after the election when the trump team challenged the results to the courts.

All of this is going to show the Democrats, through the corrupt legal system, have shot themselves in the foot because NOW they cannot hide what's coming. IE. everybody is saying that Trump lied about a stolen election and because he never proved it at the time he was lying. Trump was President at the time and it was not his purview/power to show any proof. It was his job to alert the relevant authorities (which he did) that the election WAS rigged. THEY were the ones that should have investigated for the proof, but they were already infiltrated and buried the investigation.

Everyone on ATS has been shown (unless your to stupid to see) actual proof of election rigging, so now they have had to force Trump himself to find the evidence which I hope he has got.

We'll wait and see.

Also a bit of advice....never show your hand

Seems as though Trump took your advice and waited for the other side to show theirs… either he’s bluffing (too) or he’s got a Royal Flush… and has one hand on the lever and the other on the plunger… guess we’ll see…

Trump should have revealed this info earlier when it would have meant something

a reply to: olaru12

Well it still means something to me and a lot of other people. I guess since Joe had the FBI and the msm cover for him the last 3 years then who cares anymore???
Is that what you're saying?
Ah, those 51 ex-CIA and other intel offials lied about Hunter Biden's laptop and the fake Russian misinformation campaign but since Trump didn't prove it in ttime then too bad, amirite?? You sound like Chris Wallace at the debates, remember?? Guess what...it still matters!!

Ummm dude that is a massive something...
Care to elaborate on these claims in any official form?
My bet is no and that you probably don't know the local nor federal law regarding this issue.
Best of luck and hopefully this comment peaks your curiosity into looking the legal things in your neck of the woods

Then read this article, here is an excerpt;

"The Secretary of State's Office opened an investigation into the incident at State Farm Arena. Our investigation revealed that the incident initially reported as a water leak late in the evening of November 3rd was actually a urinal that had overflowed early in the morning of November 3rd, and did not affect the counting of votes by Fulton County later that evening."

I can imagine a conference table where leftists are seated all around it and someone says, "4 indictments and they're still laughing at us. Why?"

Liberal outlets are in disbelief and shock that Even the aggregate of the indictments is not destroying Donald Trump.

I thought they all wanted Joe Biden to face Donald Trump in 2024, because Joe would kick his ass like he did in 2020.

Point conceded to some extent - trade wars such as the one where Trump caused a net loss of 240,000 jobs in the US have an effect on everything. But capitalism and corporate actions have a bigger impact, and (like it or not) we're actually part of a global economy. As with state gas prices, individual countries may be able to do something to mitigate some of the costs, but the real controller is the major oil producing countries.

Top producers are Russia, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran - the US doesn't even make it into the top five. And you'll recall that Russia's got a war going on and is raising oil prices to fund it. Imports are slightly down and exports are slightly up under Biden but our appetite for petroleum still rises.

(interesting point; you can see the dip caused by Covid in those charts)

It is a complicated picture, and that doesn't even count corporate manipulation or the impact of supply and demand.

tl;dr - We live in a very complex economic ecosystem. It's false equivalency to blame gas prices on a single government unless that particular government is the leading exporter of oil for the world.

It is interesting the 4 years before Trump was about 3.50 per gallon, so like magic, it drops 40% or so when Trump takes over. Nothing to do with policies... OK BTW gas is still over 5 bucks were I live

Other than 2012 to 2016 were not great years as far as the individual goes, 2016 to 2020 were great and then they sucked once again 2020 to 2024... I guess it is just events no one has power over... I bet people that Trump released from Prison who were there for life under Bidens draconian 1990s prison bill might think Trump was actually good.
