Thanks for this thread bobs_uruncle. I have some reading to do. Starting with; Spiteful Zombies.
I shall be back!
As an aside, I have included Charles Hapgood, "Earth's Shifting Crust" since Hapgood was a CIA operative acting as a professor when he wrote this book. It appears it was meant to derail catastrophism research into the 12,000 year cycle, as many of his theories can be debunked.

I've been researching this subject for a long time now; I'm currently working my way through all of the Churchward books on Mu. It sure adds a new perspective to consider!
If any of it is true, it looks like mans' knowledge increases to the point of creating a cataclysm because knowledge without the wisdom needed to go along with it always reaches a tipping point.
The elite seem to have a plan this time though; the Svalbard Global Seed Vault and underground bunkers for those with enough money to buy a bunk.
What started me on this quest so many years ago was learning about all of the ancient underground cities around the world and trying to figure out why all our world scholars have no clue what they were used for or how long they were in use. They're still discovering more to this day.
Thanks for the thread!

Your mad scientist skills aside, build your own chip!
Even the vehicles. Lets assume, Mad Max type postapocalyptic scenario. Gas? Lubricants? Welding gasses?
I mean we can go all day stretching out every single source piece of material needed just to have some semblance of a life we knew before.
Our reliance on technology will be the downfall for most of us in any scenario where the supply chains and grid is down. Then extrapolate over generations.
One thing eludes me however.
Where are all the damn tools!??!
