These are manufactured charges that any public defender could beat as the 1st case of their career, let alone a team of high powered defense lawyers.

When you have done nothing wrong, you don’t run, you #ing fight.

i tend to take the can't happen as more thinking the establishment is sane and aware of the division it'll cause if it starts locking up its political opponents to lock in an election win..

the can't happen is more that what'll happen if the are dumb enough to create political martyrs..

I tend to look at what is happening as 2 reformations underway at the same time, the us mirrors continental Europe and the uk/Ireland repeat the English reformation both are happening at a vastly sped up level..

the issue is we are rushing towards a deeply sectarian divide and a hate that can't be bridged, its the death of not only plurality but also democracy its why the fringes of both sides think the other won't do what they will do if this continues down the path its on..

all each of us can do is protect our own the best way we can.. but it looks like the coming storm is inevitable..

You may want to look into Willis' record with RICO cases. In September 2013, 35 people were indicted for their role in the Atlanta test-cheating scandal. By the time the case went to trial a year later, 23 of those that were indicted had accepted plea deals. Of the 12 that went to trial, 11 were found guilty.

So she can clearly put together a solid RICO case in a short period of time. And this case has half the number of defendants.

Isn’t the US government a corrupt organization at this point. Especially when it tried to strong arm the nation into believing the Trump Russian Collusion lie, and strong arm those that resisted the lies perpetuate by the government concerned covid and tried to coherence people into taking flawed covid vaccines. Then throw in the strong arm tactics and the blatant lie Hunter’s lab top was Russian disinformation.

Oh the hypocrisy…. Go after all corruption, not because someone isn’t in your camp.

1) Can't have a mistrial without a trial, a Grand jury proceeding is not a trial.
2) SCOTUS won't touch this. This is wholly within the jurisdiction of the state. There are no grounds for SCOTUS to intervene.

I think none of that will be necessary.

The People of the US will file a class action lawsuit barring all these conspirators from ever holding office again, based on, among other things, the recent paper from the Federalist Society explaining the originalist view of the Constitution disqualifying them all from office.

And I think the Supreme Court will agree with the Federalist Society, and the People.

I have said I think Biden and Trump will both be out of the running before the next presidential election, but I wouldn't pin my hopes on the federalist society's little treatise to accomplish what you're hoping for.

I've also said there are some big surprises coming before the next election, and I don't think any republican or democrat is going to get through to the other side of this unscathed.

I think we are in a "fourth turning" and it's going to take a heavy toll on the country as a whole.
