With just days to go before her trial starts, Sidney Powell has taken a plea deal. If I'm Rudy, now would be the time that I start thinking about my own plea deal.

Will Chesebro also take a deal or will he actually go to trial on Monday now that all of his attempts to have the case then out have failed? In fact, three last attempt failed so badly that the judge ruled that Chesebro's emails and notes are fair game under the crime-fraud exception.

It's a minor charge against Sidney Powell. No jail time.

Just doing her patriotic duty of attempting to investigate election fraud.

Those who have a lot to keep hidden, Obviously don't like it.

Specifically, she has pled to six counts of conspiracy to commit intentional interference with performance of election duties. This is a misdemeanor. Each count carries up to a year in prison and a $1000 fine.

Powell's punishment will send a clear message to the other defendants about how long they have until the door is closed.

so no jail time and 6k in fines?

Minor slap on wrist. A good lady got burned mixing in with drunkard Rudy. She will get on with her life.

Came out good as it could for her.

According to the article CWM posted, the prosecution is only seeking six years probation and a written apology to the people of Georgia. That sends the message to other defendants that there's still time to deal.

It's ultimately up the judge, but it doesn't look like the prosecutor is recommending any fines. I'm sure she'll be ordered to pay court fees.

More info coming out. She will pay a $6000 fine as well as an additional $2700 as restitution to the state. She also has the six years of probation.

The most important part though is that it's contingent on her cooperation in the other cases. If she refuses to cooperate or the prosecution finds out she's withholding evidence, the deal gets rescinded.

Definitely. This is what I said when Hall flipped, Hall gets them Powell, Powell gets them Rudy, Rudy gets them Trump.

There are other ways they can also get to Rudy, and I'm sure they're pursuing those options to put additional pressure on him, but getting Powell to flip is a major first step in getting Rudy to flip.

Sidney Powell pleads Guilty of attempting to prove election fraud in a Georgia county.

A doer, instead of a whiner.

Thank you Ms. Powell for proving General Flynn's innocence, and going above and beyond to demonstrate fraud enabled Joe Biden's win in 2020.

She screwed up. She was not criminally guilty of anything. Neither is Cheseboro.

You are aware that she's agreeing to testify against Trump and that her testimony in this case will almost definitely be able to be used in Jack Smith's DC case against Trump, seeing as how she's listed as an unindicted co-conspirator in that case, right?

So she truthfully says that she did what she did....so what. There are 16 other cases still out there. She plead down her charges because she is more than likely done dealing with it and this costs money.

There are 16 cases still out there that she will now be able to testify in. She's connected to the fake electors. She's connected to the Coffee County cases. And she's connects them all to Rudy, who was, allegedly, giving her marching orders.

Do you think Rudy is going to want to spend the rest of his life behind bars as the mastermind behind all of this? Or do you think he's going to be willing to flip on who was giving him orders?

It's also worth mentioning that post of Powell's deal includes giving a recorded proffer. That part of the deal has already been completed. The generosity of the deal given to Powell is reflective of the value of that proffer session.

She has pleaded guilty. Done a deal to avoid jail.

Is this not something that is quite significant?

How can you just wave it away?

"Just doing her patriotic duty of attempting to investigate election fraud."

Some mistake, surely?

2 of 18 have plead. To nothing charges. To try to build a case around nothing. I understand how bad you want Trump to go down but it really blinds you.

Again, in this case like all of the others, there is no victim and no crime. This was all preparation for what Pence should have done and that was send it all back to the states to re-certify. Phone calls. Lining up the right people.

It is a joke.

You do realize the reason the prosecutor has them pleaing to minor charges is to encourage others to seek plea deals, right?

As I said earlier, this plea deal was made after Powell's proffer session. The fact that she's getting off with probation means the prosecution sees a lot of value in that testimony. If I'm Trump or Rudy, I'm sweating right now.
