Yeah! He hasn't flipped! He's just going to testify against Trump and in exchange he isn't going to be prosecuted! It's completely different!

Trump had until tomorrow to file a motion to have his case removed to federal court. He filed a notice with the court today letting them know that he will not be seeking removal.

He clearly saw how the other removal attempts went and decided not to waste the money. Honestly, after Meadows' attempt I don't know why anyone tried. He had the best case and even then it was weak.

That's pretty much standard operating procedure. Jury trials are expensive and time consuming.

He sounds pretty adamant that he supports Trump 100% and that the media is 100% lying about it.

Scott Hall has become the first defendant to take a plea deal.

He got probation in exchange for his cooperation. That's not good for Powell. I think the odds of her taking a plea deal just went up.

Five misdemeanor charges. None RICO. Why not take a plea and be done with it.This is low lying fruit. Latham, Powell and Hampton could be testified against but these charges have nothing to do with Trumps cases.

Right? Powell is not tied to the Trump cases either.

Latham is who I would worry about...maybe.

As you said, this puts pressure on Powell. If she takes a plea that puts pressure on Rudy. If Rudy takes a plea that gets them Trump.

How? How do plea deals from Powell and others have anything to do with Trump?

I really want to know why the lawyering is the way to win this, rather than the evidence and the facts?

If there was a strong case, these kind of games would not be played.

Rudy was Trump's liaison between him and Powell. If Powell flips she becomes the star witness against Rudy. And Rudy was right at her epicenter for all of Trump's attempts to overturn the election.

This is how RICO cases go. The prosecutor will plea out the lower defendants to build a stronger case against their actual targets.

In her last RICO case, Willis started with 35 defendants. By the time the case went to trial all but 12 of those defendants had plead out. Of those 12 that went to trial, 11 were convicted.

You're sure LIN WOOD "flipped"? Or, did one of the liberal media rags use "unnamed sources", like they been using to get liberals all worked up since Trump beat Hillary?

Thanks for explaining. I now have a brainstorm!

Prosecutors can make a FAMILY RICO with the 16 Bidens who profit from Hunter Biden pimping out his Pop, and Pop extorting foreign leaders.

From what I read, Sydney didn't care much for Rudy being drunk before noon and by evening ranting and taking over.

She isn't a bad person nor a bad lawyer. She was a good federal prosecutor, she took on a big RICO prosecution of the Bandito's outlaw biker gang in the SW. She was one of the youngest, and female.

She got caught up with the wrong jerk... a sad drunk. I know she made some wild claims. I found her credible before that, and cant imagine what happened to reel her in. I feel like she regrets it.

I hope she writes a book when it's over.

If you haven't, youtube some of her speaking engagements prior to getting involved with Trump. Speaking about her federal prosecutor days.

I've always been puzzled about her involvement over everyone else.

Honestly, I'm not familiar with her earlier work, but if what you say is true then it would behoove her to take the prosecution's plea offer and then maybe she can start working on repairing her reputation.

If you don't know anything about her, how do you know what's best for her?

And maybe, just maybe, you need to learn more about the people YOU are judging. lol

Does her past history change the fact that two grand juries thought her actions regarding the 2020 election warranted an indictment?

Why do you feel like a grand jury indictment is a verdict?

I thought you knew law better.
