I think it’s difficult in this day and age of constant judgment to be anything, even slightly, off the norm.

Professionals in this field are desperately needed.

Support and understanding is needed.

You asked and took the word of someone you admittedly consider a train wreck?

Would you do that with a straight person?

I would ask anyone what is it that they are looking to gain from any action as that is a normal process when dealing with any subject. My point is I see most trans as train wrecks with the whole trans part as just part of a bigger issue going on. I don't see it as we all know inside what we are no matter what we physically are. That is just a copout to explain away some serious issues.

I have real life trans friends/acquaintances that are not train wrecks.

And I have straight friends/acquaintances that are a train wreck.

There are no trans-humans.
It's physically impossible to transition between genders but you could pretend you're the other gender for as long as you like it. If you happen to believe it too then you're definitely have a mental health issue.

AGAIN with the physical.

I’m not explaining it again.

So you accept there can be no transgender humans then.

Your attempts to involve the brain have failed numerous times btw

What isn't needed are gender ideologues and trans activists to argue their debunked nonsense about millions of genders, transhumanism, trans kids, gender brains, and everything else that is LGBTQ+ propaganda related in schools. It will be great if all LGBTQ+ 'lessons' cease from all schools forever.

How much of the day do you or I spend on thoughts of our sexuality, I bet little to none most of the time, but people can be so obsessed with it that it rules their daily activities. So yes, people can live normal lives, but it also becomes a fine line of going over the edge too far.

I dealt with ADHD/OCD kid, undiagnosed high functioning Autism kid, and now teen high functioning Autistic non-binary.

I’ve experienced the positive affects of early intervention and the disaster of undiagnosed. Still ongoing.

My teen kid is a hand washer and mildly OCD. I’ll take it, as some Autistics are the reverse.

Support is crucial.

This thread is about LGBTQ books in a public school system.
This thread is about parents not being able to opt out.
It's not about autism and it has gotten way off topic.

I think you're still confusing the purpose of this thread as well as a real condition such as autism with the fictitious transgenderism and the non binary pseudo-philosophy.

Am I making too much sense for you?

Contemporary research on the intersection of autism, sexuality, and gender identity asserts that autistic individuals are more likely to identify as LGBTQIA+ than the neurotypical population. Similarly, the prevalence of autism is higher among transgender people than cisgender individuals. Autistic individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+ face increased discrimination in access to care, cultural stigmas, and violence. Such experiences can drive poor mental and suicidality which are already high among autistic and LGBTQIA+ communities.

That absolutely will never happen.
You still haven't retracted your OPINION that science doesn't know why people are heterosexual.
You are ignoring facts that don't match up to your OPINION.

Again, this thread is about the LGBTQ books in the public schools in Maryland
and the fact that parents are not being allowed to opt out of them.

You have no headspace for the other side.

Which talks about all the things you try to use to promote your side.

I mean we went over this last night.

Instead of regurgitating what you already have, maybe find some headspace for all those links. They hit on all topics you've brought up time and time again.

If you don't want to make the headspace, maybe move on from this thread.

You look like a fool when you argue one side and admit you won't look into the other.

You are doing yourself the greatest disservice.

So, you’ve personally dealt with the emotions, suicidal tendencies, etc.

And does your sister regret transitioning?

Is that why that seems to be your only focus?

Gender identity is a made up term.
Emotions and turbulent behaviour is dealt with psychotherapy and counselling. It's best to recognise these conditions for what they are, psychiatric conditions. But even if you don't directly admit it you have made many connections between the LGBTQ+ 'spectrum' and mental health conditions.

Yes I have. Though I don't think my sister has ever had suicidal tendencies. However there is a lot of emotional baggage.

And does your sister regret transitioning?

My sister isn't totally closed minded and after doing her own research, from both sides, chose not to take hormones or go in for surgery. This could change in the future, I don't know. But they are in their early 30's now.

Is that why that seems to be your only focus?

The detrans and whistle blower stuff has not been my only focus in this thread.

It only shifted there as a way to try to get across to you. I honestly thought you would be way more open to arguments from those who experienced it and worked in it because they are way less opinionated and the sources as unbiased as you can get.

You made it clear you have no interest in that. But keep falling back to implying, unless we here posting, have any direct experience or expertise, who are we to know?

Well Annee, who are you to know? When you won't listen?

I get it, it hits close to home for you and you're just trying to do what you think is best for your grandson. I'm certainly not trying to take anything away from that. Nor am I trying to convince you to change what you're doing in your personal life.

But you need to know the other side, before you come in here and grandstand for yours.

Because your kid has autism you fancy yourself a LGBTQ expert, eh?

No, your personal situation doesn't make you an expert in all things LGBTQ
and it doesn'tchange the fact that these books are propaganda and the parents
should be allowed to opt out. And no, the parents who want to
opt out are NOT the same as child molesters no matter what
your OPINION and FALSE CLAIM are.

I know this thread has gone off topic many times, but I feel for the most part it was just evolving.

But circling back to the OP...

Isn't that what it's all about?

One of the places this all starts!?

The schools and the propaganda?

Parents are systematically losing their rights to parent their children.

And it is ideologically driven by the left.

This stood out to me from last nights quotes I highlighted from their sources.

Read Rose's Story (Blog Post)

At one of the support groups we attended, we were also told that transgender identity takes a few years to develop in children. They told us that during this period, it is very important to protect the child's transgender identity, and therefore, you must eliminate contact with any family or friends who do not support this identity or go along with it. Yes, the gender therapist running this parent support group said this, and at the time, I believed her. Looking back, I now see this in a shockingly different light: this was an intentional process of concretizing transgender identity in children as young as 3 years old - the age of the youngest child in this group. When identity is concretized at this young of age, children will grow up actually believing they are the opposite sex. How could medicalization not follow?

I Thought I Was Saving Trans Kids. Now I'm Blowing the Whistle

Soon after my arrival at the Transgender Center, I was struck by the lack of formal protocols for treatment. The center’s physician co-directors were essentially the sole authority.

The doctors privately recognized these false self-diagnoses as a manifestation of social contagion. They even acknowledged that suicide has an element of social contagion. But when I said the clusters of girls streaming into our service looked as if their gender issues might be a manifestation of social contagion, the doctors said gender identity reflected something innate.

This was tragic, but unsurprising given the profound trauma some had been through. Yet no matter how much suffering or pain a child had endured, or how little treatment and love they had received, our doctors viewed gender transition—even with all the expense and hardship it entailed—as the solution.

Experiments are supposed to be carefully designed. Hypotheses are supposed to be tested ethically. The doctors I worked alongside at the Transgender Center said frequently about the treatment of our patients: “We are building the plane while we are flying it.” No one should be a passenger on that kind of aircraft.

The Monster Behind Gender Theory, and the Atrocious Lies He Based It On

Listen as Dr. Jordan B. Peterson and Dr. Miriam Grossman walk us through the horrific yet true story behind the Reimer twins. The atrocity of their upbringing, branded as a successful experiment by Dr. John Money, was used as the bedrock of gender and identity ideology that has captured the western world today.

Feels like Dr. John Money's experiment is now being conducted en masse.
