Kids don't need hormones, 'blockers', or butchering of their genitals. These procedures should become illegal in all states and are already illegal in many states currently but there is plenty of work to be done for the pseudo-science to disappear from schools once and for all.
That's not your or anybody else's call.
Already illegal in many states.
That's political and in the courts as being against the constitution. Next.

It's painfully apparent that facts and logic are not where your interests lie.
There's no reason to belabor the point.
However, If you any more of those gems of wisdom, I'm open to hearing them.
...I'm open to hearing them....lol
Lots of room left in my signature box.
I should have put quotation marks around your words for meaning.
About that wisdom you were speaking on earlier......
Wisdom would be off topic when we are discussing your last comments.
One of us has never claimed to be wise.
One of us has claimed and demonstrated to be a moron.
Should we listen to the detransitioners?
Another nerve hit. You guys are too easy.
Please, explain?
Did I mistate something?
Is the question not on topic?
By all means...
By all means...carry on.
So we can count you among the growing number of people who do not want to acknowledge the existence or testimony of detransitioners?

You never listen. You should try it sometime.

I've only seen a few, but I've seen a greater number of transitioners online that said they were glad they did it. Many factors need to be considered, you can't push a simplistic agenda within a complex situation.

You may try and complicate it, sure. But all I'm hearing is "this minority matters for reasons, but those do not."

Yeah, no such thing as pseudo-science when it comes to saving a child from committing suicide.

Okay, so your stance is that on a biological level, someone is born either male or female. A definitive signifier one way or the other. Obviously, because of differences in anatomy and such.
But on a mental level and maybe wired into the brain somewhere at birth is something more that plays a part in someone's gender identity. Makes them more masculine, or feminine, what have you.
So with someone transgender it's appropriate to say that they aren't becoming the opposite sex, from a biological standpoint, but for all other intents and purposes, they do.
Is that about right or...?
I know we've had a few back and forth but I really do want to fully understand your thoughts, even if I disagree with them. Which just so you know, I don't disagree with everything you've said. Definitely don't seem to see eye to eye on a lot, but that's okay. It's half the fun.

There is nothing complex.
Nothing needs to be considered. The state must make all 'affirmative' care illegal for minors. It is already the case in many states.

You have just shown your hand. Each person matters for a reason, is the correct phrase which seems to elude you.

This has nothing to do with the LGBTQ+ propaganda in schools. Whether every person matters is not an excuse for pushing ideology and propaganda in schools.

You know what AlienBorg, I somewhat agree with you, in that, within this new treatment of this new phenomenon extra care needs to be taken to protect the children or divert drug therapy. I don't like drugs, I don't take drugs...I think they disrupt the natural energies of the body and change the body. But when the child and the parents force the issue, what are doctors to do?

It certainly does if the threat of suicide is present.

The child and parent cannot push anything when the law says the opposite and the doctors are not willing to go for this path. I doubt the child pushes down this path. Adults are usually the ones who try to push their delusions to their children.

So part of pre affirmation care should involve brain scans to make sure they're already the sex they feel like on the inside? Should that be a prerequisite?
Hopefully brain scan science evolves to the point that can be a reality.

The child and parent cannot push anything when the law says the opposite and the doctors are not willing to go for this path. I doubt the child pushes down this path. Adults are usually the ones who try to push their delusions to their children.
The child presents, the child needs help, the parent take the child to the family doctor, the family doctor throw up their hands, the family doctor recommends a higher scientific team, the scientific team dissuade the child and family, the child and family push (why, I don't know) because there is no alternative?, the treatments begin. This is being studied and questioned as we post right now. The process is lacking much.

If you believe brain functions determine biological sex then you're completely misunderstood what you have linked and trying to argue.
