I'm pretty sure within the next 10 years we will be flooded with cases of people trying to de-transition back and finding the changes are permanent.

Some are already coming out saying they regretted the choice and felt that at the time it was made the adults around them were more encouraging of it and wished they had been told to give it more time.

Science does not even know the reason for heterosexuality.

Just because it’s dominant, does not make it the only orientation or make it the “right” one.

All of these orientations, including transgender, have always been.

I am from a time when ALL things not accepted by society were hidden. That’s just plain wrong.

You’re going to hear more because today people feel free to be who they were born to be.

Especially among youth, because that’s generally where it starts.

Look, if I have to explain how babies are made, then this is going to be a looooong evening because you'd probably discount the science.

I keep hearing "it's not a choice it's who they are" and while I agree that for many it is truly how they feel and want to live their life, that isn't the case for all.

Just to be clear, I support the sliding scale.

No matter your orientation, there are “degrees from middle”. Both ways.

Is there more than just masculine and feminine?

I'm curious on the breakdown of the 100+ identifiers people have.

It's an honest question. I've never dived down that rabbit hole.

I'd rather hear from you instead of risking reading the wrong sources.

Who said anything about procreation?

Besides frozen sperm works great. Men really aren’t needed.

I thought this thread deals with four books which nobody can find anything wrong with except a minority of parents.

It's 20 books all K-5 that deal with things that people do indeed find things wrong with.
(such as the anti-science claim that gender is how you feel, and not about actual gender determined by chomosomes)
Some of parents wanted to OPT OUT but were told they could not.
THAT is what the opening post is about.

AGAIN with the physical body.

In one ear out the other.

Again with the emotions and not the actual science of X and Y Chromosomes.

In one ear and out the other.

Heterosexuality is the 'right' one.
Male and female reproductive organs fit together to reproduce the species.
That's their purpose.
Anything else is simply dysfunctional.
5% of the population is LGBTQ and dysfunctional.

I guess you’d first have to define masculine/feminine.

There was a Playboy article on how women’s bodies have changed over the years. Today Marilyn Monroe would be considered fat.

I don’t warn my kid against gender, I warn him against Lust.

That powerful chemical reaction that attracts one person to another.

Gotta go.

I'm sure that in the 100,000 years of human development, there were tribes of homosexuals and lesbians.

We really don't know much about them though because they tended to die out after a few years.

lolz

If women take over the world and ditch men, buy stock in sperm banks.

Qualities or attributes regarded as characteristic of men or boys (or vice versa).

If there is more than masculine and feminine, what is it?

If there are only masculine and feminine, how does that come into play with the 100+ identifiers?

Oh and just so there is no confusion, I am not talking about physical attributes.

We know there are males and females and for like a million years that is the reproduction cycle of a species, nothing else works...

Orientation is something personal. Today I'm 80% male and 20% female, tomorrow I'm 90% female 10% male, what the hell does that mean and I really don't care. Be whatever you want to be, but get ready for the guy that is 65 and says they are 13, or the White guy that now says they are a Black female. We already have the Trans female with a beard that self-identified as a lesbian too. We call them dudes, but whatever

Just go off into your little box of self-created reality and leave me alone and do not expect me to play along.

I am from a time when ALL things not accepted by society were hidden. That’s just plain wrong.

So are we at a point all things must be accepted by society, and just who does the picking? What has been hidden in the last 30+ years to suggest we need to keep going?

You’re going to hear more because today people feel free to be who they were born to be.

They have been free, but now we want kids to be free too to make adult decisions, and all I have been saying is we do not need to rush it.

You don’t have to be sexually attracted to someone.

The equipment still works.

How do you think gays/lesbians who wanted a family did it in the past.
