It seems the retired Rear Admiral is a little less skeptical than the recent CNN OP-ED piece, as well as the ATS peanut gallery. Still seems he is whitewashing the Navy and particularly Naval Intelligence's possible role in covering up these incidences and other UAP phenomena. Who knows he could be asked by the Navy to run lead blocker and misdirection

Makes me wonder, taking at his word he sounds convinced, so much so that I'm thinking misdirection and a bit of downplaying the whole schlemiel

Have we had former top military brass be so open to this discussion before?

thehill.com...

Last week, I had a front-row seat at the hearing of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee’s Subcommittee on National Security, the Border, and Foreign Affairs on unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), also known as UFOs. The three witnesses provided extraordinary testimony on their observations of aerial craft with performance characteristics far beyond those of modern aircraft, as well as knowledge of a hidden U.S. government crash retrieval program of such vehicles and their nonhuman operators.

The witnesses were former officers in the U.S. military with stellar service records. Their message to Congress was that we are not alone, we possess technology unlike anything available in the public or private sectors, and the U.S. government has covered up this earth-shattering information for decades.

So how has our society responded? To quote an assessment in Forbes, “the internet shrugged.” After some brief reporting by the major news networks, they returned their attention to nearly full-time coverage of the dismal legal landscapes surrounding Hunter Biden and Donald Trump.

Perhaps the era of fake news has desensitized the public to remarkable revelations like these, so I feel compelled to share my perspective to shed light on their validity and implications.

As a retired U.S. Navy flag officer, I can attest to the integrity and authenticity of the two pilots who testified: retired Commander David Fravor and Ryan Graves. I have served on three aircraft carriers and count many Naval aviators as close friends. These two witnesses are the real deal.

So is David Grusch. As a Navy information warfare officer, I worked closely with the intelligence community and Grusch’s former command, the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency. I too have been read into special access programs, and I understand how Department of Defense classification systems and authorities work. His testimony is 100 percent credible.

It may take time for society to come to grips with this historic hearing, but we will be best served by immediately responding as follows:

1) The U.S. Congress should continue to demand the Department of Defense and intelligence community disclose UAP information, data, and materials to the public.

2) The U.S. government should show leadership in international scientific studies of UAP.

3) The U.S. research community should significantly expand the scientific study of UAP.

Rear Admiral (ret.) Tim Gallaudet, Ph.D., is the CEO of Ocean STL Consulting, LLC , a research affiliate with Harvard University’s Galileo Project, and a member of the advisory board of Americans for Safe Aerospace. He is a former acting and deputy administrator at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), acting undersecretary and assistant secretary of Commerce, and oceanographer in the Navy.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

All they are going off of in all this is the witnesses ‘credibility’.

Sorry, that doesn’t equate to truth. I’m tired of all the blabbering.

Pics or it didn’t happen!!!

We do not care because there are more pressing issues at hand. Unlivable conditions in most major US cities, failing infrastructure, "working wages" that are not sustainable with US inflation (nor have been for years) systematic selection of leaders not elections for decades etc the list goes on..

WE ARE ALL PISSED that this came out and we are realizing they have suppressed not just the aliens and UAPS (who cares!?) but that they have kept from us a better standard of life; free energy, healthcare potentials, our real place amongst the stars for a start.

So this Government D-Bag can shove it for all we care.

That’s it, a smoke screen for the ongoing corruption at the highest level
They don’t need a committee, just release all the data

The peanut gallery, anyone who thinks it’s relevant or anything will come of it

Tbh the question isnt really 'is there life among the stars"

Its "what are they doing up there"

No one knows

Thanks for telling us ghosts are real but not why they are roaming about

well then show us an alien or show us a UFO. No one cares, we've known they are a bunch of liars for at least 50 years. Gonna take a little more than just a couple people saying what we've already known for years to cover up our collapsing society.

Whole reason they're making aliens real is so they can blame them for those things you've described above. If they don't they might have to take the blame for it themselves.

Imagine how many tax dollars that admiral is personally responsible for wasting. And 'they' spelled NOAA|NOAH. Har Har

Again for the thousandth time, when has our government ever moved quickly except maybe locking our azzes down for COVID?

Let's do a little check ATS time check here. I'm gonna search and see when Burisama/Biden was first mentioned and will are still waiting...

Here it is almost 4 years and counting, and now you expect something covered up and hidden since the 40s to pop in a couple of weeks

does it help one political party and hurt the other? If so, it's golden. If not, it needs some accouterments.

I have an alien locked up in the pump house. But you can't see him.

Yea, our government was handling all those issues so well before they had one 2 hour hearing on UAPs.

You do know how many congresspeople we have?

We had what 15-18 talking about UAPs out of 435? what was the rest of them doing?

Check out Tim Burchett's schedule the man's decent at multitasking.

Not to mention check the Congressional sub-committee schedules there are loads of them. UAPs were one of dozen and dozens

www.congress.gov...

For perspective the last 2 months there have been 71 Senate or House sub-committee meetings, and the UAP flap was just one 2 hour session

Us ATS Peanuts have debunked more false UFO cases than Ancient Aliens Theorists say yes, shows.

Just debunked one yesterday.

These last few years have given us the first, good, military recorded, clear-ish videos than ever before. I’m all for exploring these and see where they lead.

But don’t think a few intelligence agency agents "whistleblowing" = evidence.

Show me the craft.

As a retired Project Director at the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, I am gratified to see this agency is taking the lead on disclosure of UFOs and Aliens' reply to: putnam6

These hearings in the House Oversight and Accountability Committee’s Subcommittee on National Security, the Border, and Foreign Affairs on unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), is an overdue turning point in UFO and Alien disclosure.

This is not going away, there will be too many whistle blowers testifying with House protection.

Of course. On this particular topic, they want as much time as they can get.

To spin the narrative(s) in whichever direction that befits their agenda that’s been in play for too long to count.

Be prepared to be even more confused when “disclosure” happens….

a reply to: lunarcartographerI became a member of ATS because of the coverage of UFOs and Aliens. Since joining there has been calls for the US government to disclose what they know and posses regarding UFOs now called UAPs and Aliens.

Now that it is started some of you are in denial that disclosure has really started and claiming it is just a misdirection from other activities in D.C.

This is not going away, you have military and intelligence people at the highest level cooperating with the House Oversight and Accountability Committee’s Subcommittee on National Security, the Border, and Foreign Affairs on unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP).

These House members are determined and are not going away until disclosure is revealed. They are not happy that they are not being given 'oversight' of funded programs which is a major responsibility of Congress, and are not going to be denied.

Lets give this disclosure a chance before making claims that it is not real.

This is what we wanted, lets give it time to unfold.

Don't get the impression Gaullaudette is white washing anything as much as leaving the navy out of it by omission. It's quite possible like everyone else he's got restrictions due to security clearances or at the very least just not willing to jeopardize his pension. So fair enough.

The trails of breadcrumbs laid down by the whistleblowers & others is significant enough to get official hearings. That's at least something. The leaked video's of UAP's have also gotten the govt to admit they're clueless. It's only now we're hearing just how disruptive UAP's have been to military exercises, which is also rather a major "something". Last I remember letting your enemies know about anything that can flummox your defenses is beyond the pale.

So far this thread is "reading" like the entire UAP issue is a nothing burger. Quite disappointing. The UAP issue is proceeding more like a slow burn, think marathon not sprint. Rome wasn't built in a day, unpacking 80yrs of lies an "snip" is gonna take a minute.

Said it before Im open to all possibilities here, and definitely the gubmint lying is one of them. In fact, I'd say in my over 20 years of reading ATS, one thing we do excel at is identifying when our gubmint lies to us, it's our default mode.

Pretty sure the last time I believed our distinguished Congress, DoD, President, and Vice President at face value was WMDs.

There we people here on ATS that said, there are no WMDs in Iraq, years later they were proven right.

As mentioned before…..it’s going to be fun….if UAP’s get onto the elections debates.

That in itself would be the clue of seriousness……

Moderator……The U.S. Government say’s UAPs/UFOs exist!

Mr. President…how would you deal with the subject of UAP’s in our sky’s?

Former President Trump….. how would you deal with the subject of UAP’s in our sky’s?

Governor DeSantis….. how would you deal with the subject of UAP’s in our sky’s?

Former U.S. Ambassador Niki Haley…. how would you deal with the subject of UAP’s in our sky’s?

And so on…

Did I say it was concrete evidence? no, I did not.

I know Grusch didn't say it's concrete evidence, all he said was Congress should look into this. No more No less

Completely open to all three are plants and this is the psyop of the century, but guess what you haven't got any evidence to support that theory either. When you do make sure you let us know.

Hell Im just excited to be talking about something instead of terrestrial politics talk about boring AF, and nothing happening.

I am excited also.

Finally high quality evidence.

Gratz spelling??? Said at the hearing he has high quality photo of ufo/UAP taken by military jet recently. Backed up by radar data.

Can’t wait to see that.
