This disclosure seems like its just an "antibody" being released to stop a "truth infection", so to speak.

This is dynamite, well said! 👏

*slams on desk*

Unrelated to this topic, this sentence fits so many situations.

The chinks in the armor are growing. Deny ignorance indeed.

Was there anything new or was it just the repeat of the continuous "I know something, but I can't really tell you" event? We are at the point they need to through a dead alien up on the table in Congress otherwise it is just a repeat of the same worn storyline.

Maybe we're considering this the "wrong way 'round"?

Maybe Grusch isn't, or shouldn't be, the "star" of this show. And placing him in that role does nothing but provide "deniability" for some "high-ranking officials" should the affair go pear-shaped?

In the hearing, yes, the focus was on Grusch; but let's re-arrange the "picture" a little to see if we can build a plausible narrative.

Graves spoke about unidentified objects exercising unauthorized access to US military training sites with regularity, and apparent impunity. To the extend that military pilots were routinely advised of their likely intrusion during upcoming exercises in preflight briefings.

Graves: UAP's can, and do, violate US airspace, impede, and impact, US military training and operations, and thus pose a potential threat to US security.

Fravor: Eyewitness account of UAP encounter during US military training operation. Provided "expert witness" testimony regarding the existence of UAP's as physical objects, their performance capabilities, and subject expert estimation of UAP capabilities in excess of known or likely US and foreign assets.

Grusch: Government and contractor agencies have been collecting information regarding UAP's, and the threat, if any, they represent, for decades using public funds without proper oversight by, or transparency towards, Congress, and have actively prevented efforts to establish such oversight or transparency; up to, and including, the use of violence, and perhaps murder.

At this stage, it might not be "proof" that US being dangled before Congress.

It might be a ploy to get the attention of Congress, by suggesting to Congress that they might be getting ripped off by folks who are keeping "the goodies" to themselves.

"Disclosure", in this sense, is merely secondary to playing up Congressional indignation over the realization that their authority is, and has been, ignored for decades.

Yeah, let's call it 4-D Chess.
'We' would know if any of this was credible. We would also know evidence when we see it. And there is nothing here but smoke.

First , disclosure of what , exactly ?
That UFOs exist ?
100% positive they do.
Ever been out on a clear night and saw a light in the sky and wondered what it was ? That's a UFO .
Then one realizes , it was just a jet liner . That's an IFO .

"But now, once again, an individual who was given a responsibility to investigate these issues and gather intelligence by our government is telling you there’s a cover-up. He’s gone against the grain, lawyered up and spoken out…with many others lending their public support of him. "
Why would one require lawyers to speak the truth ?
Gone against the grain ?
I say more like going with the flow....
... of popularity .
That makes money , and lots of it .

(bold by me for subject matter)

I think it’s just that we’ve been lied to for so long about so much that when we get what we’ve always wanted, it’s a bit tough to believe. UFO Santa. Most of us are thinking, what’s the catch, where’s the angle, why now?

The thing that supports it all for me is that things have been going very weirdly worldwide for sometime. Madness seemed to descend around 2017. I think TPTB are on a fixed timeline. I guess we’re going to find out. Could be a bumpy ride.

My biggest problem is with the term "Non-Human Biologics", given with no explanation..

Monkeys? Mice? Rats? Tardegrades? Algae? Spiders?

Somehow, I don't think the term is referring to anything we'd term or refer to as "Alien" aka "Not from this planet".

I don't believe I'm alone in needing a bit more than what they've decided to pull out and run with as a "new" talking point.

Is it "Disinformation"? Probably not. I'm sure it's "true" in some political/legalese doublespeak sort of way.

"A Russian/Chinese test craft that was off course and crashed with a canine cosmonaut/taikonaut in it that we now have in frozen storage" qualifies as a "Downed craft with Non-Human Biologics". I can see then having a great laugh behind closed doors out of the public eye discussing it.

The idea that actual aliens would show up here and talk to evil world leaders is laughable.
Also, the idea that aliens would show up and you'd even be able to recognize them as 'anything' is laughable.
And they show up in spaceships? How quaint.

This is so dumb.

IF there is anything, what it is is the NWO or etc, creating human-hybrid genetic monsters.

Don't be fooled, Aliens aren't 'real'. At least not in a way that we would ever know about.

This is all just baby steps in pulling the wool over your eyes. They tested the water with the plandemic. And now they are seeing if we are ready. If we are stupid enough yet.

'So what about all of the UFOs and stories from over the years, and throughout our history??"
Well, it's far more logical to realize that 'modern civilizations have come and gone many, many times over the course of our earth's history. I'd be willing to believe that we've reached great heights in the past, and that these descendants could very well still be with us, running things from behind the scenes.

Think - Flat earth, or hollow or earth, or 'space is fake', etc. These things are far more real and tangible to me than aliens showing up in metal cans.

So here is my problem. So many of these guys, like elizondo etc. Are just disinfo whores. How do you know. Well it is simple, none of them ever discuss the ACRP, active or crash recovery protocols.

These protocols have been in place since before Roswell. They have been experienced by literally hundreds and hundreds of veterans over the years.

Now our experience counts but it is not proof that they were aliens instead of say fallen angels etc. But those of us who were used in these protocols to secure these crashes can say without doubt that there has been beings and ships not from this world crashing on earth got a very long time.

If you really look at history with open lense you will correspond our huge jump in technology and advancement to around same time frames as crashed UFO's.

We are not talking small jump here but more like over hundred fifty years or so. This is compelling to me. Part of testimony was that we have been crashing and capturing these ships. That is just BS, complete BS.

Have we secured them and done our best to back engineer them, of course. But if you followed, or experienced any of this yourself you know we could never figure it out on our own. Will let you ponder that for while.

... Yet, instead of enthusiastically celebrating some progress, however how small, you’ve now decided it’s all a stage.

Some of you are truly lost.

Our government cannot afford a population that further mistrusts them, especially after the COVID issues and our citizenry’s growing skepticism of anything and everything. ...

You can tell the government is lying, because their lips are moving.

Definition of a Conspiracy Theorist: someone who refuses to accept the statements of proven liars.

I'm really sorry to have to point out, that when you say "Our government cannot afford a population that further mistrusts them", with all due respect, it makes you sound like a tool (in the literal definition of that word).

If the swamp-things want some trust, they could, oh... I don't know... maybe (1) stop lying, (2) start cleaning their own house, (3) stop being a force for evil in the world, and just maybe (4) read and start defending the Constitution. I for one see no evidence whatsoever of any of these 4 desiderata happening, and instead I see the OPPOSITE of all 4 happening with greater frequency and severity every single time I check the news.

Another responder mentioned "the boy who cried Wolf." The US-Government has less-than-zero-credibility left -- meaning that whatever they say MUST BE FALSE. Lying is a strategy that we see throughout the lower orders of the animal kingdom, but if something does it AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALL the time, it becomes predictable. Unfortunately we can't just invert what they say to arrive at the truth, but we can rest assured that whatever THEY are saying is NOT THE TRUTH. (ie; there still might be aliens or ufo's, but whatever they are saying about them may be reliably taken as an inaccurate portrayal of reality.)

I want to believe (that alien life exists, and might be flying around our skies). If and when they fly past me, or I somehow see aliens with my own eyes, I might then be 100% convinced (if it's not too blatant fakery).

Conversely, if the government mounts a much-hyped campaign to convince me that the "sky is blue", I just might begin to doubt my own eyes. This is where we are. This is the end game of elements in the government deciding that "just a few" outrageous lies are not a slippery slope. "We're the Government -- they HAVE to believe us!"

There's no disclosure. There are a few new people in government positions saying there are UFOs - that's not disclosure.
It's just a little more to add to so called conspiracy theories.

Disclosure would be an official statement along with proof.

I think something is going to happen that will make them force disclosure such as mass sightings and possibly landings.

Going off folk lore, when the government first made a pact with these entities they told them to stay hidden because civilization was not ready. They do not want to remain hidden and gave a timeline of when they expected civilization to be ready. That time is approaching soon. One date I have heard many times is 2027,another date is the mid 2030s.

Instead if using the technology or the goid if the planet, the government and Military Industrial Complex used it for profiteering. Other NHI technology has been repressed so the oil oligarchs can continue selling oil to the masses.

Perhaps because of this greed they will expose themselves to the world sooner than the original agreed upon timeframe(2030s) and why there is an effort to inform the masses ao when it happens, when it is undeniable the general population will be accept this new world order.

I believe we are ready now and the hold up is the folks who want to hold on to power for as long as possible.

Just like how going to Mars is dependent on planetary alignment, perhaps this interstellar travel is also dependent on star/galaxy alignment and why certain time periods have a much more sightings than other periods. We may approaching one of those windows.

Very well put.

I don't see why people think the Grusch testimony is game-changing. He didn't say anything that hasn't been said before by others.

Deny ignorance indeed. So, why accept testimony in which no new information is provided and no evidence whatsoever is provided? Criticizing members for remaining skeptical of unimpressive testimony on UFO's seems to be an attempt at critical thinking shaming, something I am never in favor of.

It’s not really a question of ‘now’ per se. We have seen an escalation over the last decade. This includes the DOD releasing video of UAPs, the government forming investigative bodies (albeit some seemingly for show) as well as an uptick in congressional interest on the topic.

Agreed. Back in 2001 I lurked for years, then finally created an account to create posts during a golden age of ATS…now back to lurking. I guess like many things it’s a full circle. I liken ATS to the rise and fall of civilizations. There was a peak when despite our individuality and political differences, this site was full of curiosity. That’s what made it great. Now, it’s mired in tribalism. I wonder what that says about our American society? Is it foreshadowing? I hope it’s not too late to experience a renaissance.

Hey! I’m always around, I just try to avoid meaningless argument nowadays. So, I don’t say much just observe.

The why now could be just the next step in a progression, or there could be an ulterior motive. I’m not naive. Let’s just say it can be both. A political misdirection AND soft disclosure.

Cheers!

show me a picture of the downed craft, or one of the biologics spoke of.

It's not that none of us believe, hell, most of us want nothing more than for this to be true. And to some degree, it likely is. I don't doubt "we" have craft and likely bodies in a hangar somewhere. "THEY" have lied and obfuscated so often, that until you show me the craft and or the body, I will have to assume you are lying.

Please tell me I don't need to talk to you about the boy who cried wolf.
Like the church is closer to god the higher being, the government is closer to aliens, a higher being.

Except the main stream media is barely covering this. And unlike Snowden or Assange, he has legal covering to disclose. Notice that classified information and specifics were not discussed publicly, but promised to congressional members in a secure environment. Seems fair enough. National security does in fact take a priority over public curiosity.

The question I have is, will a toothless congress actually do anything with the information they are given. I believe the public hearing was in direct response to them being stonewalled. If that’s the case and they need public pressure to sway things in their favor…not looking good for the home team.
