kworb.net...

Some country singer named Aldean wrote a song about stopping violence in small towns and the left lost their minds and has banned, canceled, this guys song.

I thought free expression was something everyone supported.

Guess I was wrong.

What kind of issue could anyone have with a music video full of dog whistles filmed in front of a court house whose biggest claim to fame is a lynching?

It's not like he had a trans person appear for a few seconds.

The fact that we all know exactly who that is kinda sinks whatever point you were trying to make.

A for effort?

So you are for censorship, correct?

You should probably find a better example than Colin Kaepernick.
That guy has the I.Q
of a house plant.

Art should not be censored, any art.

If he wants to sing about good ol' boys, which is slang for groups of white people from the South, he should be allowed to. And anyone who wants to play that can play it, and anyone who doesn't want to has that option and should not be forced to.

Here are the lyrics to the song:

Sucker punch somebody on a sidewalk
Carjack an old lady at a red light
Pull a gun on the owner of a liquor store
Ya think it's cool, well, act a fool if ya like

Cuss out a cop, spit in his face
Stomp on the flag and light it up
Yeah, ya think you're tough

Well, try that in a small town
See how far ya make it down the road
Around here, we take care of our own
You cross that line, it won't take long
For you to find out, I recommend you don't
Try that in a small town

Got a gun that my granddad gave me
They say one day they're gonna round up
Well, that # might fly in the city, good luck

Try that in a small town
See how far ya make it down the road
Around here, we take care of our own
You cross that line, it won't take long
For you to find out, I recommend you don't
Try that in a small town

Full of good ol' boys, raised up right
If you're looking for a fight
Try that in a small town
Try that in a small town

Try that in a small town
See how far ya make it down the road
Around here, we take care of our own
You cross that line, it won't take long
For you to find out, I recommend you don't
Try that in a small town

Try that in a small town
Ooh-ooh
Try that in a small town

Definition:

1. a male who embodies the unsophisticated good fellowship and sometimes boisterous sociability regarded as typical of White males of small towns and rural areas of the South

To me, it's the same as rappers singing about the ghetto and warning people about going in if they don't belong.

Art shouldn't be censored. Find the art you enjoy and forget about the kinds you don't.

Thank you for standing up for free speech that you don't agree with.

That's very American of you.

I am a heavy metal/hard rock guy, I never listen to country at all.
But I like that song and I downloaded it to Bluetooth it on my motorcycle.

The fact that the Left is screaming and crying about it, just makes it that much better.

Edit - I can’t wait to have it blasting on my motorcycle at a light next to some weak people.

So "good ol' boys" cant be:
"Raised up right?"

Sounds racist...but ok.

Went to your link, first definition:

a man of the S U.S., variously characterized as easygoing, companionable, assertively masculine, and strongly identifying with his regional lifestyle

Why not post that one?

I'm not saying youre a racist, but the odds aren't in your favor currently.

Dude wasn't canceled by the right. He was a mediocre quarterback with high salary demands. Teams didn't want a expensive back up that was also a distraction with his social justice campaign.
