Sure, but why would evolution stop evolving under water, what's to say evolution isn't eons ahead underwater?

That's what I was trying to get at....

And if you want to call the moon dust, and venus acid as thats what makes up the wast amount of their surface it would follow that sol 3 should be called water, as that's what makes ip the wast amount of its surface...

it all depends. Are they here to assimilate with us, or rule us? Once you determine that, you will have your answer to the rest.

Do you think aliens are just like, our older cousin with a cooler skateboard and brand name jeans? You understand how diverse life is on our planet what in gods name makes people think life on another planet would integrate with human society? The only other species that we could claim integrated into our society are subjugated.

Depends on the alien, fashion is a week spot for those chicks. For those others that have their gear in order, meh.

The UN Declaration is for the inhabitants of the planet Earth.

Would Aliens have to adopt basic earthly humans rights to assimilate to earth’s mankind? Or would they not be obligated to do so?

To assimilate - yes.

To subjugate - no.

Really, I heard they have acidic exoskeleton and have a shared singular consciousness- seems like fashion is a part of our culture- not theirs. Can you show us some examples of alien fashion not just media portrayals?

This is an interesting point……..

If you subscribe to the great flood of Genesis……….then adding more water to earth would have decimated scores of air breathing creatures that could not swim.

So life already below in the seas should have been unaffected and continued to evolve….while when the surface of the earth restarted, drying up…life had to start a new evolution so to speak.

While earth was evolving anew on the surface, …..under the seas, creatures were ahead already advanced beyond the soon-to-be latest crop of air breathers.

The great flood was God …….just topping off the earth beyond its tallest peaks…..

Underwater life must have loved to be able to explore the higher volume of water, and what the dry surface topography used to be.

Imo….God adding more water to the planet …did not kill off the entire undersea life that pre existed since creation.

I digress from the OP

Ha…it reminds of the tv series….

The premise was a marooned mothership…..and the assimilation of the aliens into earths human societies.

This life has made its place. To get back on topic, have you seen just how amazing some of these jelly fish get? Mind blown.

There are plenty of explanations that don't need God for a great flood, but they have more than 3 letters...

Seing it's a persistent lore amongst many culture it probably did happen in some form or another, and does add weight to the question pondered...

Who knows what evolution for some species should look like.

For some…evolution has to be intelligent evolution….or that evolution must happen. I’m not to sure of that.

For example…

Cockroaches are Really Old. It is believed that cockroaches originated more than 280 million years ago in the Carboniferous era.

Where’s the evolved roach? ….Not all species have to evolve.

Some species remain stagnant, whereas some species evolve to have higher intelligence and changes to its physical attributes.

Whether on land, in the skies, and in the water.

Do you think evolution would of made this far without the insects? With David Icke and the reptilians, we would not be here without it. There is a core reptilian aspect to all of us, the rainbow serpent.

There is also something much more to us these days, use it or lose it.

I say they look just like us and they are already here stomping all over our rights already, because they are mostly politicians and celebrities.

More space.

It has up and down and gravity isn't such a constraint to many species.

Supposedly the Greys have sort of speak entered the Earthly realm of gender neutrals physically, more of those Earthly rights and specialized rights to life has no meaning if free speech is out of the question on Facebook ...

I think aliens would keep their distance, we are assholes
a planet full of assholes
sorry all you good humans, too many bad apples have spoiled the bunch

so I think aliens either come here to study us or laugh at us but keep their distance and watch our idiocy unfold.

I also believe that if aliens do exist our governments will try their hardest to not show they are here as they would lose control over us as Alien tech would probably end energy and food dependancy
and that means the world gov loses their control over humanity , they lose their cash crop

Well, in one sense, in this world might has been right.
But the fact that they haven’t openly been going around doing damage to humans might infer they are respecting our rights somewhat. Just not rights regarding air space, and of course, the abductions, if real, tell us no they don’t respect our rights.

Maybe like when we intervene and save animals or when we do to animals what we do in slaughterhouses and in scientific labs.

And certainly, most of history records humans don’t respect the rights of other humans at all.

I typed out a response to this earlier and deleted it other than post, it was about legal aspects of "personhood". Why I chose to delete was because here in Australia one of the criteria of personhood is being born, but in the US there are some (imo) stupic fetal rights laws and I didnt want this to be flooded with pro-lifers.

There is no (known to me) laws, statutory or common, that extend personhood to aliens, so its ok to kill them, its not murder--the other side of that coin is they cant be charged with murder if they kill us--no legal consequences for abduction either.

I havnt read the whole thread, so this bit may have been mentioned already. In NZ a few years ago they extended legal personhood to a river, so it is not far fetched that personhood status can be extended to aliens with similar legislation (also any aliens reading this, go invade NZ).
