My husband is prone to uric acid stones. Changing the goddamn environment does NOT prevent them, only DIET change does. For #'s sake, we had to all but eliminate beer & red meat (his definite formation triggers) in his diet for me to prove to him & get him to take his doctor seriously in that it was caused by WHAT HE PUT DOWN THE GULLET.

Dehydration did not do that. Diet did.

Dear God Nyiah! Not beer and red meat!

I better get used to the idea of getting some kidney stones.

By the by, how have you been lately?

But if the article tells you it is speculation and you go on about how you are not buying it, surely you can see that your evaluation has left the tracks, right?

The red meat is down to once a week at most, and the beer is down to the infrequent 6-pack even less frequently. I think now that he knows his assumptions were wrong, that he's paranoid about triggering internal pea shooter production mode again. Thus he behaves & doesn't even try to sneak in jerky (I know, willpower, eh?)

Been pretty good so far this summer, at the cost of occasionally sore feet (lotta park walking)

I agree that I don't buy their speculation. What we seem to disagree about is the purpose of said speculation, particularly the idea that this is climate driven as opposed to any other factors. You merely site dehydration as the root cause, sure I can agree here to a degree, but you fall short with the tie-in to climate change by making it seem like Fox has a hydration agenda by frightening parents or whatever other excuses you can come up with including casing aspersions on my sanity.

Give it up, I see right through it. I'd like to hear more about how violently insane I am. Why don't we go back into that issue?

See? You did it again: completely not understanding what I say because you are too triggered.
The article says it is speculation ie it was never the intention that you buy anything.
Just to raise awareness that there are many factors contributing to the rise in kidney stones in younger children.
That's all the article is about.

But I am 'targeting' you, right? That doesn't seem paranoid to you, if you'd evaluate that objectively?

It's called imagination .
Good thing I have very little .

They should have made it crystal clear that was their intention and they didn't, therefore I see no other conclusion as they left me with none.

I believe this is a propaganda piece by Fox.

Am I paranoid? Am I a violently insane psycho? I'm I incapable of understanding your point? I am not objective because of my opinion that this is meant to make me believe that climate change is responsible for kidney stones in children?

I'd wager you'll say yes to all these allegations. Why? What are you getting for doing that? Your jollies?

If I speculate that unicorn farts can prevent strokes does that imply that unicorns are real?

No, but it implies that you believe unicorns exist and expect me to believe in them as well. Please try harder, I'm getting bored with this.

No it doesn't. It is playing with possibilities.
I can speculate about everything without actually believing anything.

"Climate change" will also be used to blame the massive increase of heart diseases like myocarditis that began after vaxx rollout. It's the next phase of the great reset. It's the next "current thing" all the wojacks will support.

That was lame, you must have a reason to voice such speculation, such as the implication that you believe what you are saying or trying to make me believe it. Anyway, you could apply that very same logic to my speculation that this is a propaganda piece, not that it would be accurate or logical.

Right.
All those kids having kidney stones only have them to make you believe in climate change.

It's fine. Stay in your paranoia bubble.
I tried.

Way to put words in my mouth! Your specialty, let's review.

Things you stated that I never said nor implied and your attempts to further characterize me in a bad light . . .

if the call from a doctor to let you kid have more water, or unsweetened tea makes your conspiracy alarm bells go off.

going to kick the bottles and cups out of the hands of random children in the streets because FOX speculated that warmer average temperatures might mean they could get easier dehydrated

your paranoia prevents you from correctly putting in relation what you perceive.

surely you can see that your evaluation has left the tracks, right?

completely not understanding what I say because you are too triggered.

Yep, looks like your right about me and I was really off the rails with this one. I've broken under the weight of your mighty intellect and will retract this entire thread as you have made me see the error of my ways. Thanks Peeple, I now realize I'm paranoid, delusional and capable of violence toward children because I believe that Fox news wrote a propaganda report that supports climate change. I am glad you're here to help me with my mental problems and lack of logical and objective thought processes. Well, my hour is up, I'll pay at the front desk and see you next week.
