why did the lawyers let biden sign the order if they knew it was illegal?

how could they not know it was illegal?

Signing the order was not illegal.
The order itself was.
They knew it wouldn't make it past the third branch, sadly many Americans don't know how the three branches work or why the checks and balance system is there.
This entire thing was a ploy to pander for votes and make the SCOTUS look bad to the unintelligent.

What young people are seeing…

Trillions going to Russia
Billionaires so rich it’s silly and they are taking ridiculous voyages to see sunken ships
Money going to the rich during the pandemic while they all had to work “essential” jobs

I could go on all day.
If I were a young person I’d be angry too.

No, nobody has to go to college. Some want to, and it shouldn’t cost them for the rest of their lives.
It should also be illegal for colleges to require Freshman to live on campus.

Pre-internet, universities had a reason to require diversity in degree requirements. Not necessary now that it can all be accessed online. No need for it to be required to be given to the student THEIR way.

'Well rounded' doesn't mean the same as it once did.

Democrats are upset because they have to pay their own bills now instead of having someone else do it.

The election?

You mean Afghanistan, the open southern border, inflation, higher taxes weren't enough?

I'm not a Democrat and I'm upset at our government doing absolutely nothing about this issue. Inflation and higher taxes on top of student debt is going to push many to not vote for republicans telling you to "just work harder" "why'd you take out the loan to better yourself?"

It's not a good look and it's insulting

Inflation and higher taxes are Bidens fault.

Maybe so but student debt is personal to the voter and not doing anything about it will lead to independents either not voting or voting Democrat.

Then why have loans at all if Mother Government will take care of you?

The loans are backed by the government already letting university's raise tuition every year. The problem is the business model and if you don't have a perfect major or a strong economy you're in crippling debt.

What's the Republicans plan except "pull yourself up from you BOOTSTRAPS" BS argument. "back in my day I bought a four bedroom house as a mailman!"

So it is envy.... none of that changes that people voluntarily took on debt.

I agree that student loans are out of control. The solution is to get government out of providing student loans and future generations won't have to deal with the same tuition inflation due to government subsidizing the loans.

However, those that took on loans need to pay them back. It is a slap in the face to those of us who paid back our debts.

My wife and I paid back about $150k between the two of us. We made significant personal sacrifices to do so. Put off buying cars and other items. Picked careers that would provide the employment necessary. Lived frugally. Ours were paid off in about 10-15 years.

Why not payoff the plumber's f150 he needs for work? Why is it some green haired chicks studying lesbian art theory gets her debt forgiven but Joe Mechanic can't get his Snap On tool loan forgiven? Or the plumber?

Doesn't matter what the Republican plan is. It will be #, just like the democrats plan.
You want government to fix problems the government creates.....
Never gonna happen.
The government has the Anti-Midas touch. Instead of gold, everything it touches turns to crap.

It's going to crush the GOP's hope of victory next year. Young voters are the single most important voting demographic right now and they're going to be pissed.

but how can the GOP be blamed for something Biden did that was unconstitutional? Pelosi even said it early on.

I suppose since democratic voters aren't all that smart, they will just listen to what CNN tells them. And if we have 4 more years of Bidenomics, just think of the unbridled prosperity for all! And 10% for the big guy! It's a good time to be old and have debts covered. Lefties will be voting Biden from the poor house and with a smile because DERP.

Exactly. Government can't fix a problem they created...

What's going to happen in 5 years when another round of students made bad decisions and they need a bailout?

So you would prefer that millions of 20-somethings never learn to not borrow 6 figures for pure garbage schooling, that will never pay them anything ?
Or that a President can spend 400 billion without the Congress being involved at all ?
If this had been Trump’s idea, you’d fight against it until the end of time.
I keep reading that the new generation is pretty conservative, and is tired of the lying, cheating, wrecking of America. Don’t think your great socialist wave will happen.

If you want to make someone dangerous, give them false hope then take it away.

While I have big issues with the government rescuing adults from their own decisions, intentionally being played is what students should really be angry over.

This is like the whole "Reparations" thing.....
It is just another way they pander to people to get their vote.
They know it will never happen, but they bet on the fact that people are too stupid to understand why.

The left has a neat approach to using unconstitutional cheating quite well.
If they are teeing up something that they know won’t pass the SC, they simply plan on using the criminal scam hard and fast for the year or two it takes to get shot down at SC. Do maximum damage to the country with something that you always knew was illegal.
They also have the attack on the GOP and right all scripted for when they lose, 2 years in advance.
Biden’s all over the place reading his 2 year old speeches today, for their loan or AA scam losses.

I think its funny how on the one side you have people saying schools are indoctrination centers turning our kids into gays and trannys and against their parents.

then that same side and the exact same people are saying "but you have to pay them "

Nothing makes any sense

Student loan debt is not the burden of the rest of the US citizens.

Also, not everyone should go to college. It is a bad idea to think everyone should.

Not every college degree will provide the level of income needed to pay them back.

How about lowering tuition? The schools got their money but now the UD taxpayers need to bail out students?
