here is my original response, please explain to me how you could not see that as a simple yes and no question, or even as you stated, I was suggesting you said anything prior to me asking or moving the goalposts

and does said criminal offense warrant the death penalty?
police are employed to arrest and then put perps in front of judge and jury, they are not employed to be said judge and jury

latest breaking is from Marseilles, where rioters have emptied a weapons arsenal (no details yet). A 'protester' has been arrested with one of those weapons.
So while you all are still debating who has more blame and who has done more wrong between the cop and the boy... what about the rioters (lots of teenagers) who are now in the streets armed with guns instead of stones and fireworks?
Police officer charged with voluntary homicide in French teen's killing
A march paying tribute to Nahel M., a 17-year-old shot dead by police earlier this week, ended in a stand-off between law enforcement and demonstrators on Thursday. New violence was expected overnight.

The riots we have now? For most who participate in them, it got nothing to do with a boy who was shot by a cop.
Burning down police stations, beating up every cop you come across, setting fire to city halls and schools, burning banks and plunder stores,.... That is not the right reaction
