The shop owner handed over data that he copied from the laptop to the FBI, Trump and Bannon, who then used it to try and make Joe look bad
The FBI had to seize the laptop from him later.

Very nice of a Trump apologist to call a dead congressman of color a "frog faced moron", and claiming he heard the utterance in question by the deceased individual just the other day, but that's not on you, @opethPA.
As for Cumming's claim regarding the Voting Rights Act, it's not entirely wrong. In the House it passed by a 333–85 vote (Democrats 221–61, Republicans 112–24), most, if not all of the nay-saying Democrats becoming Dixiecrats who then switched over to the Republican party. In the Senate the bill passed by a 77–19 vote (Democrats 47–16, Republicans 30–2); only senators representing Southern states voted against it. So GOP senate votes did help to make it past a filibuster.
Do keep in mind that back then, the South was dominated by the Democratic party. The Democrats knew this would cause a schism in their party, which it did. LBJ, a Democrat, used his political capital as president to push it through, lamenting afterwards to Bill Moyer, his press secretary, "Well, I think we [The Democrats] may have lost the south for your lifetime – and mine." Being that Bill Moyer is 89, LBJ's statement will in all likelihood bear out.
‘We may have lost the south’: what LBJ really said about Democrats in 1964
So the Democrats knowingly did take a massive political hit for the Voting Rights Act, whereas the GOP gained a bunch of racist ex-Democrats who chose to go over to the more conservative of the two parties, and likely to spite their old party and its sell-out (to them) Texan president as well.
Was what Elijah Cummings said at a presidential convention a bit of political hyperbole? Sure. Do a lot of politicians spout hyperbole at presidential conventions? In the immortal words of Sarah Palin, "You betcha!" Trump said in his 2016 nomination speech that "We will be a country of generosity and warmth. But we will also be a country of law and order." Separating children from their parents and putting children in cages is not generally considered generosity or warmth. And as for being a country of "law and order", ahem, *cough* twice-impeached *cough* 71 indictments and counting *cough* *cough* fomenting a seditious riot *cough* *cough*. Trump also brought up the point that Obama doubled the debt (in 8 years) to $19 billion, yet Trump in one term raised it by $7.8 billion, so he actually did worse than Obama in this regard. But that doesn't mean I am going to call him an obese, lying POS.

No different than a car left at a shop, mechanics lien if they don’t pay or leave it.
I think his admission was when he went after the dude legally for sharing private data, can’t do that if it’s not yours. And you can’t get upset if you forfeited your own data, just like I can’t sue websites for selling my stuff after I sign their T&C.

Weed is legal in California. Him hitting a bong is no different than him drinking a beer. No need to clutch your pearls, or use a fainting couch.

Hunter Biden is set to appear in federal court in Wilmington, Delaware, on Wednesday July 26th, where he will plead guilty to two misdemeanor counts of failing to pay taxes and has already reached a pretrial agreement on a felony gun charge. But a bigger fight continues between GOP lawmakers and the White House.
IRS Special Agents Greg Shapley and Joseph Ziegler appeared before a joint hearing in the House Wednesday, accusing the president’s son of receiving special treatment during a yearslong investigation by the Department of Justice.
“At every stage, decisions were made that benefited the subject of this investigation,” Shapley said.
Charges against Hunter Biden focused on tax fraud and a firearm offense; he agreed to a plea deal last month, which Republicans have criticized as a “slap on the wrist.”
IRS agents Shapley and Ziegler had been assigned to the case. They told House members that DOJ officials restricted their efforts and the overall investigation.
“It appeared to me, based on what I experienced, that the U.S. attorney in Delaware in our investigation was constantly hamstrung, limited and marginalized by (DOJ) officials as well as other U.S. attorneys,” Ziegler testified.

The judge who will review Hunter Biden’s plea deal on Wednesday accused a member of Biden’s legal team of misrepresenting herself in a phone call to the court — a bizarre episode that prompted the judge to threaten sanctions even as Biden’s lawyers insisted it was all a misunderstanding.
In a brief order Tuesday afternoon, U.S. District Court Judge Maryellen Noreika wrote that an employee at Latham & Watkins, the main law firm representing the president’s son, had called the court clerk’s office and falsely claimed to work for a Republican lawyer in the hopes of persuading the clerk to remove documents that apparently contained Biden’s personal tax information.

Haha, now “frog” is racist. Living without the embarrassment gene, what a hoot.
And yes, we can hear dead people say things any day of the week. We have the technology.
I am sick of the double talk and lies of the democrat party. Just the other day a frog faced moron Elijah Cummings said that democrats gave black people the right to vote. He is a liar. Democrats voted against it. Every democrat is a con, a liar, traitor, potential assassin, and worse.

If you lose your car to a mechanic’s lien for being a brain dead moron and never paying the bill ….. you also can’t demand the nude photos that were in the glove box. Or any other stuff in the car, cash / weed / whatever.
Laptop = same exact thing. The car mechanic and computer mechanic own the item in question, and everything in it, and can do whatever the hell they want to do with it all.
But the same old crew is whining “nuh-uh did not no you can’t it’s not fair !!!” Haha, can’t be embarrassed even when they schite their little panties.
Lefties sure are creative liars and fantasy drama queens.
