The revelation is that Hunter has a very low probability of winning a lawsuit against the shop owner, since the shop owner did not release any info that belonged to Hunter. He released info that was his property.
BTW, you stated that Hunter previously admitted that “it’s his”. ‘It’s’ is a contraction, standing for the words ‘it’ and ‘is’. It is no longer his, therefore ‘was’.
Releasing someone's nudes without their permission is illegal, regardless of how they obtained the nudes.

No different than a car left at a shop, mechanics lien if they don’t pay or leave it.
I think his admission was when he went after the dude legally for sharing private data, can’t do that if it’s not yours. And you can’t get upset if you forfeited your own data, just like I can’t sue websites for selling my stuff after I sign their T&C.

Even if he did, no problem.
Hunter signed a release.
Hunter Biden is expected to make his first court appearance on July 26.
Besides the dick pics there is evidence of other crime and pics of women young enough to encourage the laptop be turned over

What crime?
the definite crimes are the juvenile stuff. Text messages and business corruption are only illegal if you are on the wrong side, so that will have to play out, but the kid stuff should have been dealt with immediately.
