A Sickening 20 U.S. House Republicans Support Rep. Adam Schiff Lying to America.

It doesn't need any more convincing for me...that DJT is a political operative or a spy from Russia. Just look at Trump's past an present record on the Ukraine War. Putin loves this kind of verbal, pro-Ruzzian/anti-Ukrainian trash talk from DJT. And lately...Trump's actions on the political front, by his claim that he'll end the Ukraine War the next day after he's elected POTUS --- but can't explain how he will accomplish that feat --- only pushes DJT more into the pro-Putin camp, along with some of his rank-n-file MAGA Republicans in Congress, all the while, prolonging the Ukraine War in Russia's favor.

More like toxic garbage for brainwashed vegetables. The Democrats haven't arrested anyone. The DOJ did. That is what it is in the business of doing, arresting and prosecuting likely criminals, and protecting US national security.

Trying to fine Adam Schiff $16 million dollars is more than a slap on the wrist, particularly for stating the obvious. You folk with TDSS had a cow about Trump being slapped with a $5 million judgement for something a bit worse.

House Republicans Censure Adam Schiff for Falsifying Intelligence Information to Public

Congressman Adam Schiff was the ranking member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence from 2015 through 2019, then Chairman of that same committee from 2019 through 2023.

In his leadership position on the HPSCI, Schiff was also a member of the congressional Gang of Eight who received classified intelligence briefings on all U.S. intel matters.

Adam Schiff used his position on the HPSCI to fabricate information from the HPSCI, leak information to media, and falsify statements during public appearances.

Following the 2022 midterm election result, Schiff was forcibly removed from the committee by Speaker Kevin McCarthy.

Today the House of Representatives censured Schiff for his lies and manipulative conduct and submitted him to an ethics investigation by the House.

OK. So what specific information did he fabricate, and what specific information did he leak? And again, what specific lies and manipulative conduct? The article was strangely silent on these details, and the Schiff haters here are strangely vague on their accusations as well. And no, "Russia, Russia, Russia" is not a specific answer.

As for what he said about the Steele document,

Appearing on NBC’s Meet the Press, Mr Schiff was presented with clips of his past statements in news interviews about the Steele dossier in which he defended the accuracy of some of the dossier’s less outrageous but still newsworthy claims, such as the revelation that Russia’s government was actively seeking to help the Trump campaign defeat Hillary Clinton.

“What I just said in the clip you just played ended up being exactly right, which was, Steele did reveal that the Russians were trying to help elect Donald Trump, that turned out to be all too true, and in fact the Trump campaign chairman was giving internal campaign polling data to Russian intelligence while Russian intelligence was trying to elect Donald Trump,”

Numerous top Justice Department officials have testified publicly that the dossier’s findings did not, however, play a significant role in the intelligence committee’s broader assessment about the 2016 election, including the assertion that the Russian government took steps to aide the Trump campaign.

Some Republicans have falsely characterized the intelligence community’s findings about Russia’s efforts to sway the 2016 election for Mr Trump as wholly based on the Steele dossier’s findings, and therefore evidence of a “deep state” conspiracy that sought to undermine his presidency.

And yet the GOP-controlled House hasn't censured Santos for his campaign lies that got him elected. Never mind lies since coming to the House, including claiming he was sworn in before there was an elected House Speaker.

Unlike the alt-right, I'm not into owning the the radical right-wing, but I must admit that I will enjoy seeing their consternation when he likely does become the junior senator from California.
