This better be an iron clad case if they’re going through all of this.

It sets a bad precedent if it’s not, and it would likely help him anyways which would go against (what I assume is) their motive to hinder him.

Democracy isn’t stifling a candidate you don’t like, it’s presenting a better one. That latter is where the left and even republicans who oppose trump struggle.

I don’t think Trump was a good president, but it’s our political systems fault he is even viewed as viable. Very few even talk about policy on how they plan to be better, they just claim they’re not him. Piss poor.

I like how Trump talks about how he will fight against the deep-state but did diddilly squat while in office to remove corruption and corporate influence. Seems like he's just playing a fiddle for gullible conspiracy theorists.

Smart and honest, but so painfully slow to aim true and strike hard, a man of his status should be much much quicker on the trigger instead of monologuing his enemies to death

The people he did hire were too busy stabbing him in the back. 30 Pense, Barr, etc…

For such a supposedly good boss hiring and firing people, hell he even had a tv show about it, he was real crap hiring anybody worth a damn when he was President.

His press secretary is about only one who seemed to do a good job. It was funny watching her ream CNN et all daily.

As independent I’m voting Kennedy in primary and Kennedy or a Trump in final. I’m registered D for now to vote for
Kennedy.

He knew they were trying to bury him but I bet he didn’t know the true extent of their anti-American, anti-Trump ideology.

He didn’t expect that 3 out of 4 people he hired or appointed would be sneaking in to do the work of the deep state and democrats.
And they all came with fabulous recommendations from GOP and ‘conservatives’.
Trump had no way of knowing that the GOP and conservative movement were about 75 % fake.
Hell, most of us thought that guys like Barr, Wray, Kelly, Mattis were solid guys. Didn’t know that Barr and his father helped to create Epstein, or that Wray was already owned by Clinton-Obama.
They did the same to Reagan, and he’d been in politics already. Made sure to get Bush in there with him to run cover for the deep state.

And released without bail apparently. That was quick. Or did I hear wrong?

I suppose they thought about the martyr optics when deciding to only charge ONE other person, so they could also charge Trump with conspiracy.

I can’t speak on the true motivations of these assholes because I don’t believe anything they say its all theatrics and manipulation imo

He was busy doing what we elected him to do, unlike some administrations I could mention.

Yep!

Why would any lawyer worth a damn want to represent a dipstick that has form for crapping on his lawyers?

Who'd want to represent said dipstick?

Yes and yes. He can run even if locked up and can pardon himself if he wins.

I would laugh for the whole first year if he won from prison after the left have hated him and done everything they could so he couldn't run.

Semi off topic. But I wonder if the secret service guys would eventually have to be imprisoned with him if he actually had to do significant time.

You should not do that CWM.
I'm sure they have enough already.
Give that money to a local charity instead where the money is more likely to be used for good.

I imagine they'd clock in and out in shifts just like an ordinary prison guard. It'd be a very uneventful job, as trump would probably be isolated in a wing by himself. Most likely outcome, however, would be house arrest; that's where expectations should be set at....he'll never see the inside of a concrete 10' x 12' cell.

Technically, yes. He could run from behind bars and he could win and then pardon himself.

He would be limited with how he could run, and it would all depend on how much the warden and the prison would cooperate with making special exceptions for cameras and journalists being allowed in. Secret Service would have to be involved as well, it would be difficult.

But he doesn't even have to campaign, nothing will change from a month, or six, or even eighteen months of campaigning. Everyone is decidedly either for Trump or against Trump. He is not an unknown, everyone is on one side or the other side. If he didn't campaign for a single day, everyone that planned voting for Trump still would, it would make no difference. And he's not going to get a single new vote who hasn't voted for him or his picks so far over the years. It's all already set.

Same reason the Bidens keep scamming.
You’d think that after 50 years of 6-figure salaries from DC, they’d be pretty comfortable and not need the graft and payola. Most of us do just fine with less than that.
