One thing is obvious…..neither NASA or the FAA have a dedicated office to handle UFO’s UAP’s....(that we know of 😉)
“Moreover, reports of unidentified flying objects which could affect national security are made in accordance with JANAP 146 or Air Force Manual 55-11, and are not part of the Blue Book system.”

Said by someone who doesn’t know it. How can you know that an unknown cannot be handled by those you don’t even know?

Haven't seen Major Oberg for a while but was reminded of this letter from Colonel Senn to Lieutenant General Crow of NASA regarding (the prevention of reopening) international UFO investigations,
September 1st, 1977:

Completely contradictory as ever suppose the NASA Info Sheet selling the line that 'no government agency has engaged in UFO research since 1969' is also worth a repost.
Especially as there are completely contradictory documents found in this book.

It's disheartening to note that several of them have been subjected to online abuse due to their decision to participate on this panel.
A NASA security team is actively addressing this issue.
We at NASA are acutely aware of the considerable public interest in UAP. However, it's critical to understand any form of harassment towards our panelists only serves to detract from the scientific process which requires an environment of respect and openness. Now, every member of our team is a recognized authority in their respective field and they have our unequivocal support. NASA stands in solidarity with them, advocating for a respectful discourse that permits their expertise and the significance of their work. Thanks.
Before I begin though, I really do want to double down on Dan's words that it is really disheartening to hear of the harassment that our panelists have faced online all because they're studying this topic. NASA stands behind our panelists and we do not tolerate abuse. Harassment only leads to further stigmatisation of the UAP field significantly hindering the scientific progress and discouraging others to study this important subject matter. Your harassment also obstructs the public's right to knowledge. Our panelists are leading experts in the scientific, aeronautics and data analytics communities. We are very lucky to have them on board to share their invaluable insights to inform NASA on what possible data could be collected in the future and how it can be collected to help us better understand the nature of UAP.

Harassment of the NASA panelists? Say it isn’t so……
Dialogue of the NASA panel host at the podium…..

Another NASA administrator at the podium….

Could this harassment be from the UFO and Aliens Don’t Exist crowd? Or the You Better Not Disclose UFO and Aliens in Earths Orbit crowd?
Is there a Ring Leader to the opposing crowd(s)?
I can only suspect 2 people behind this concerted effort to prevent possible and eventual full disclosure……and 1 of them is long dead.
Ehhhhh, anyway……that CRACK team of NASA Security is coming after you!

I suspect they, the religious extremists, or zealots, could be part of the NASA Harassment crowd.
By now, the general religious world are coming around and smelling the UFO/Aliens coffee, with stories such as…..
For Pope Francis, It’s About More than Martians
And…..
Vatican scientist says belief in God and aliens is OK
Etc…
👽
It is a poignant message about not withholding baptism, especially given the Pope’s previous comments that churches should not refuse baptism to children of unmarried parents. Francis is even thought to have called an unwed mother himself and told her that he would baptize her child himself if she could not find a priest to do it.

Thanks for sharing that Karl. RD is one of the few researchers and personalities I admire.
The folks in today's "briefing" came across as victims of a bloated agency who got stuck on this group simply to make it appear as if they're interested. I'm sure there's some chuckleheads in the background, having a laugh

Really do wonder who put that 'nasa' team together (feels more like psyops) and no bloody wonder they are hyper sensitive about criticism.
Here's the way I see it regarding the NASA panel....
[my opinion]
Let's imagine that you have have concrete proof that bigfoot exists, whether it be video, physical evidence or copies of documented data.
The public starts inquiring, repeatedly "does bigfoot exist???" and looks to YOU to provide an answer. Now, you really don't want them to know and in fact, you wish they'd simply go away but you NEED to respond in some way, shape or form. How do you do it?
option 1 - Bring in a circle of friends, social media influencers, fringe-journalists and tabloid reporters to disseminate the narrative that "Bigfoot MIGHT exist" based in limited evidence you provide.
option 2 - Surround yourself with some of the best accredited folks you can find. Scientists, biologists, PhDs and data engineers. You give them enough data to form INCONCLUSIVE results to present to the public.
Which option would be best suited to provide the general public? Which would be most believed?
I think we're seeing option 2 at play here.
