Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis officially kicked off his 2024 bid for the White House, announcing his candidacy on Twitter Spaces with Elon Musk and vowing to leave woke ideology in the "dustbin of history."
DeSantis has repeatedly called Florida the place where "woke goes to die" and said as president, he would continue to take a firm stance in the culture war.
"The woke mind virus is basically a form of cultural Marxism. At the end of the day, it's an attack on the truth. And because it's a war on truth, I think we have no choice but to wage a war on woke," he said Wednesday on "Fox News Tonight."
DeSantis added he would "lean in against woke ideology and against the sexualization of children."
"It's wrong what they're trying to do to these kids. We're not going to abide by it. And in Florida, we say we're the state where woke goes to die. You know, as president, I'm going to make sure woke ideology ends up in the dustbin of history," he told host Trey Gowdy.

Low Energy Ron lol, he’s doing great things for Florida for sure but based on his announcement, he does not have the charisma required to become president

I believe, more and more, that the “woke” extremism is part of a multi pronged attack on our entire social structure…These companies are choosing to purvey these over the top campaigns in order to elicit the response they’re receiving.
In order to change our structure to an internet based fulfillment structure, rather than brick and mortar; in order to create a population dependent on government and “stakeholder “ subsidies, these overt absurdities are intended to push some of the more popular venues out of business, with the resulting massive unemployment.
But there’s other aspects to this Machiavellian ploy, there’s the “problem/reaction/solution aspect of governance that I am equally evaluating. Doesn’t it seem a little to easy, promote Satan, child abuse and whatever other over the top unbelievable absurdities and then have the seemingly opposition based savior step forward?
Didn’t Rupert Murdoch have Ron Desantis over to the house for a chat? Aren’t other seemingly sane members of the opposition like Tulsi Gabbard etc.. graduates of the WEF young global leaders program???
Doesn’t this all just get your hackles up?

So he said a bunch of buzz words and didn't actually present any kind of policy?

I'm just going to say this.
If the person that you are voting for is banning books. You need to reevaluate the person you are voting for. Because they are trying to hide things they don't want you to know.
