Do you realise that typically a Patriot missile defense system comprises launchers along with radar and other support vehicles?

Pray tell, how could your ""Dagger"" manage to do its duty and destroy the entirety of such a system when the launchers can be located up to 1km away from the radar and/or command post vehicle?

If Kiev does not suffer any more missile strikes, then the system is functional .. alternatively, the patriot system is dead, an outdated pacifier .. there will be huge global interest to replace patriots with S400 systems I suspect, mass manufactured cheaply in China.

6 Russian hypersonic Kinzhals downed at the expense of what looks to be just one Patriot missile launcher would seem to equate to a win for the Patriot missile system.

No two ways about that really considering how much Kinzhals cost to produce.

Regardless how much you protest, there is no system available anywhere that can intercept a hypersonic missile. The patriot is not designed for the new generation missiles from China or Russia .. it's as simple as that.

The hypersonic missiles were game changers when they where announced around 2018 .. The reality is, Russia has the winning hand and there is not a whole lot NATO or the NWO can do about it. It simply is, what it is.

The Patriot was designed to intercept ballistic missiles which are all capable of traveling at hypersonic speeds. The SCUD was able to travel at Mach 5 and the early version shot plenty down.

Aside from shooting them down with Patriots that is.

Hypersonic missiles are only good for one thing and that's hitting stationary targets.

Cost-effective wise they are simply overkill and now they have been shown to be rather less than invincible the reality is its time for Russia to think again.

Not saying there isn't one, but as you have verified it could you provide a link to this official Russian source of yours? A Kremlin press release, a video of Peskov discussing it ?

There has been so much Ukraine/western media bull# regarding these missiles so far, I'd like to verify it.

The Patriot has been updated in the past 30 years and they have displayed the missile fragments for review. If the Russian missile impacted a target at Mach 10 the kinetic energy alone would not have left the large pieces they have.

See you don't hit the ground or a target going Mach 10, as AugustusMasonicus kindly points out, and leave that sort of evidence to be displayed.

As to the scientist being arrested or detained, well i guess time will tell on that score, if they are ever seen again that is.

As far as I can tell (assuming it's verifiable) these scientists were detained in July/August of last year. So that makes your clickbait title very misleading as it had nothing to do with recent "shootdown" of these missiles which itself is very unlikely. Nowhere does it give specifics of why they were detained either, only that they did present results of relevant experiments in 2012 at a seminar in France. So assuming they were detained, it might have had nothing to do with these modern missiles.

Though I haven't been able to verify even this much from non western sources yet.
