He had been caught in lie after lie. Many of which were told to get elected. His own district wants him removed from office.
These are facts that exist outside of the judicial system. Once again, the GOP don't care about integrity as long as they have the votes they need.

They investigated him because he raised a lot of money on blatant lies. Not to mention there's still questions surrounding the massive windfall of money he received shortly before his campaign.
When Hunter Biden is running for office then I'll care about his integrity.

Can a man without morals be expected to ever do the moral thing?

Why hasn't he been censured? Why hasn't he been removed from his committees? Why hasn't he been expelled?
Because the GOP need him, integrity be damned. For example, without Santos the GOP no longer have the votes for their debt ceiling bill.

He was removed from his committee assignment a while ago actually.

Perfect. Dems can then rig the votes as usual and get a dem in there
Incidentally, although senate vacancies can be filled by a governor, the Constitution mandates that House vacancies must be filled by an election. So, if Santos resigns, either there will be a special election to replace him or the seat will just stay vacant until the 2024 elections.

That's a lot more charges than I expected. I don't see how he has any option but to resign/McCarthy expels him.
