Rep. George Santos charged by Justice Department in federal probe

Federal prosecutors have filed criminal charges against New York Rep. George Santos, the Republican lawmaker whose astonishing pattern of lies and fabrications stunned even hardened politicos, according to three sources familiar with the matter.

Santos is expected to appear as soon as Wednesday at federal court in New York’s eastern district, where the charges have been filed under seal.

The exact nature of the charges couldn’t immediately be learned but the FBI and the Justice Department public integrity prosecutors in New York and Washington have been examining allegations of false statements in Santos’ campaign finance filings and other claims.

What could the charges be? Where to start? Could be campaign finance, could be embezzling from fake businesses, or defrauding the elderly or check forgery or whatever else this fake person is supposed to have done.

I guess let's not speculate, even though it can be fun to, and wait and see what comes out when the charges are unsealed. Numerous colleagues of his, and thousands of his constituents have asked for his resignation, but have yet to see it. Will this be the last straw?

Can a man without morals be expected to ever do the moral thing?

Maybe trading secrets and influence for millions in cash from foreign countries like China, Ukraine, etc..?

Let's see if McCarthy adheres to House tradition and removes Santos from his committees while he's under investigation.

"Tradition" has been leaving America for awhile.

Men now competing in women's sports, is one of many many examples.

Too bad he doesn't have a D by his name. Law firms from around the country would be defending his nonsense. Nearly every Democrat voter would make him a hero against the system even though they are the system and love the system.

You will notice that all us guys arent supporting him because we are probably honest people. Most of us "conservatives" usually are.

There is no integrity.

All those experts that swept sonny boy’s laptop under the rug before Joe’s resounding election victory proved that.

What there is though is a huge bias within the justice system.

Once again the Left bemoans the Right arresting Leftists in the midst of arresting those on the Right.

Dude, I do not know what planet you are on, but he is not well liked or supported by anyone on the right except the most cynical of right wingers who if they support him are only doing so do attempt to show people like you that they can support criminal behavior just as well as any Democrat can their own kind.

He had been caught in lie after lie. Many of which were told to get elected. His own district wants him removed from office.

These are facts that exist outside of the judicial system. Once again, the GOP don't care about integrity as long as they have the votes they need.
