Republican Gov. Brian Kemp of Georgia signed legislation Friday that will create an oversight commission with the power to remove local prosecutors and district attorneys from their jobs. The measure has been heavily criticized by Democrats, including an Atlanta-area DA, who is seriously weighing charges in connection with former President Donald Trump’s actions in Georgia during the 2020 election.

Personal opinion...it feels like the guardrails are being removed so that the only outlet for prosecution is at the federal level and, as such, could (and probably would be) pardoned at the next republican POTUS.

Why would they criticize that unless they feel they have been supporting a one sided and corrupt gangland style political theater that has been so profitable to them so far.

Obviously having a neutrally oriented and balanced unbiased legal system isn't very popular with them these days.

LOL! No, it doesn't. The reason she's putting off any decisions until summer is because she's afraid of turning into the next Alvin Bragg from NY. She needs to weigh her actions carefully in order to minimize the damage to herself.

What you can glean from the surface information is negligible IMO.

I guess every has forgotten about or has been blocked from obtaining the initial GSP and GBI accident report from Harrison Deals death.

The GBI agent on scene obtained a sample and requested the sample of resisidue be tested for exact identification of the explosive residue off of Harrison Deals car. It was so powerful, it blew the engine block completely out of the car 50 feet from the vehicle.

That same GBI later committed suicide.

The accident happened 1 day after Gov Kemp ordered a signature audit of the absentee ballots and also authentication of the ballots themselves due to information Harrison Deal claimed to have discovered and was on his way to meet with the Gov when he was killed in Pooler , GA.

1 day after Deal was killed, Gov Kemp recsended the order to audit the ballots and signatures.

Harrison worked for then Senator Kelly Loeffler and was her personal aid.

He was also dating the Governors daughter at the time.

Georgia and Arizona were the 2 key states that decided the 2020 presidential election. Both states had thousands of complaints of election fraud and witnesses who claimed to have seen first hand of ballot destruction and vote count manipulation both on the machines and from ballots.

Georgia State Police, GBI both ruled the accident unusual explosion. There was no reason or explanation as to why Army CID and Army Intelligence was on the scene.

You didn't read your own link again, did you? DeBrow explains how she brought up that the district attorney was considering it, but she never actually made the offer through DeBrow to present to her clients. The district attorney interviewed two of the witnesses as volunteers before she just decided to start sending subpoenas to the rest of the witnesses and THEN made offers directly to the witnesses by strong arming them and intimidating by leading them to believe that they were also being investigated and might be charged. Once she convinced the witnesses to accept immunity, then she tried to have the defense attorney removed by saying that with immunity, her clients didn't need her as a defense attorney anymore. All underhanded. Willis should be disbarred.
