We can guess what name wasn't named... if she said "Trump made me do it", then it would have been released the same day and there would be new investigations underway. They're protecting someone/something and not disclosing it makes it worse. We're left to speculate and come up with conspiracy theories.

I know ... sort of like Epstein's Client List and the Congressional Hush Money fund list ... two other things we were told we didn't need to ever see.

The Tennessee Governor wants a special session for July and the Republican lawmakers want the manifesto released before the special session to address any firearms legislation and it looks like they are thinking about some sort of red flag law.
That will probably get some in the trans community worked up.

I am still optimistic it will either be released or leaked.

That wasn't the reason one would want to keep something like this from the public domain.

I know it is hard to conceive of this in a country such as yours that arms the insane (case in point), but such a document might convince others with no ability to differentiate between fantasy and reality to also commit mass murder as a way to get the voices in their head, 'heard'.

Additionally, what utility is there in having it in the public domain? Will it make anyone's life better for having read the ravings of a murderous madman?

Sure it may very well be cathartic to some. One would assume that an armed loony toon is going to paint the town red at some time anyhow.

It would be better to have the manifesto available with no hoohar and let the whole matter fade away then create this drama about what is in it.
