One class I got at uni, stay away from conspiracy if you want a job in the industry. How did that work out for Tucker Carlson?
The Clinton body count is one to watch for anyone wanting to know.
The vibe I get from Lou and the new ownership, we are in an information war. Do your home work, handle with care, if you get some blow back that will hurt this site you will be deleted. If we can somehow capture a flag, don't expect any recognition.

Dr. Paul E. Croarkin of Mayo Clinic commented that social media content could be very convincing and emotionally triggering, as opposed to clinically-delivered medical or scientific evidence. He added that this emotional trigger could sometimes override logical thinking.
Dr Saliha Afridi of The LightHouse Arabia said that humans being naturally curious are drawn to trying new trends without thinking of consequences. She added that the need to conform makes people susceptible to irrational thinking, especially when one’s favourite influencer or group are doing something that is trending.

Winning the online game requires one to override emotional triggers with logical thinking and lose that need to conform to what others want you to do when it goes against your better judgement.

Nah, making everybody else quit through a combo
of boredom and aggravation caused by a tsunami of 1,000,000 words, is the key.

Hi ATS staff,
I'm just wondering - is that banner ad above the 'Recent Posts' page a symbol which indicates the beginning of an online game which ATS members will need to figure out? I tried searching for anything on Google or Wikipedia, and nothing of particularly obvious meaning popped up, other than the definition of a troglodyte being a 'cave dweller' - so I assume it is ATS-specific? Perhaps ATS is the cave?
Inquiring minds want to know...
Cheers,
FITO.
I have to be honest, Above Top Secret was a passionate endeavour for me, from what feels like another lifetime. But its in the past, and I have forged a family life and solid career that is now my focus.
ATS was my first foray into the Internet and I leaned into my curiosities at that time to build the community around those topics. I don't have any negativity at all towards my business partners of The Above Network. It was our attempt at launching a start-up, and by all means it didn't hit escape velocity to break out into scale-out territory and beyond. All decisions were jointly agreed by the partners, no ill will from me. It was a collaborative initiative, and simply not successful.
Also note, that I was no more than a teenager when I started the idea. The sheer toxicity aimed at me over more than a decade, the accusations of being a government front, a misinformation portal, the loose cannons whom literally & physically came to my childhood home in England and said "this dump can't be the right place" (paraphrasing) for the ATS domain name's old registered address.
Its a different time for me now, and I remember the past good times fondly, but it is the past.
