One class I got at uni, stay away from conspiracy if you want a job in the industry. How did that work out for Tucker Carlson?

What class might that be? And which Uni did you say?

The Clinton body count is one to watch for anyone wanting to know.

Bingo on that one... just don't go looking around too enthusiastically.

The vibe I get from Lou and the new ownership, we are in an information war. Do your home work, handle with care, if you get some blow back that will hurt this site you will be deleted. If we can somehow capture a flag, don't expect any recognition.

Me too. Same vibe. Lou is just the replacement Pied Piper, segued in when it became clear the initial TDL thing was going to flame-out (or auger-in as your perspective may be).

That's all fun and all ...but what about the GAME?

Here - let me give it a shot:

"Amigos - We beseech thee ...give us a sign!!
Our curiosity is piqued ...and your behavior benign!!
What is the meaning of this latest diversion?!
Is Lou just a troglodyte undergoing conversion?

We desire clues as to why your recent banners align!
The games forum has tossed up little for our time...
Once more, we implore your three Friends of ATS'
show us again why we should still consider you best!

From that source:

Dr. Paul E. Croarkin of Mayo Clinic commented that social media content could be very convincing and emotionally triggering, as opposed to clinically-delivered medical or scientific evidence. He added that this emotional trigger could sometimes override logical thinking.

Dr Saliha Afridi of The LightHouse Arabia said that humans being naturally curious are drawn to trying new trends without thinking of consequences. She added that the need to conform makes people susceptible to irrational thinking, especially when one’s favourite influencer or group are doing something that is trending.

Winning the online game requires one to override emotional triggers with logical thinking and lose that need to conform to what others want you to do when it goes against your better judgement.

Nah, making everybody else quit through a combo
of boredom and aggravation caused by a tsunami of 1,000,000 words, is the key.

The call to wikipedia with Simon Gray and a quote after it is such an obvious syntax error. Of course Wikipedia Simon Gray produces results. Do not understand why it persists that way.

Hi ATS staff,

I'm just wondering - is that banner ad above the 'Recent Posts' page a symbol which indicates the beginning of an online game which ATS members will need to figure out? I tried searching for anything on Google or Wikipedia, and nothing of particularly obvious meaning popped up, other than the definition of a troglodyte being a 'cave dweller' - so I assume it is ATS-specific? Perhaps ATS is the cave?

Inquiring minds want to know...

Cheers,

FITO.

The one somewhat involved online search I did with UFO projects ended at a Simon Gray site. So, do all things lead to denying ignorance as to who or what is really in control of us all?

With what has happened to ATS the past few days, its looking like Lou had this plan form the start. The warning was clear.

If Lou wanted to kill the site it would be dead. Looking like ATS was in need of some swamp draining expertise.

Has anyone solved this? It happened during my ATS hiatus. And then I had to start fresh because I couldn’t remember my password, and it was linked to an old email that I no longer have. 😆

The banner and side ad has been bugging me…

The image of the face is a strange one, bit of work went into it with one face looking straight ahead and another face looking to the left.

Two faces? It's the same.

Before the Simon conspiracy theories begin to arise again, I'd like to share the last message I received from Simon. I initially didn't intend to, but maybe it'll offer some clarification. Darko is an idiot. He has no idea who Simon is, and he's too delusional not to run wild with nonsense.

I have to be honest, Above Top Secret was a passionate endeavour for me, from what feels like another lifetime. But its in the past, and I have forged a family life and solid career that is now my focus.

ATS was my first foray into the Internet and I leaned into my curiosities at that time to build the community around those topics. I don't have any negativity at all towards my business partners of The Above Network. It was our attempt at launching a start-up, and by all means it didn't hit escape velocity to break out into scale-out territory and beyond. All decisions were jointly agreed by the partners, no ill will from me. It was a collaborative initiative, and simply not successful.

Also note, that I was no more than a teenager when I started the idea. The sheer toxicity aimed at me over more than a decade, the accusations of being a government front, a misinformation portal, the loose cannons whom literally & physically came to my childhood home in England and said "this dump can't be the right place" (paraphrasing) for the ATS domain name's old registered address.

Its a different time for me now, and I remember the past good times fondly, but it is the past.

Simon

I left him alone after that. I cant even imagine the harassment he's had to deal with for 20 years over ATS. People take things way too far, and so did Darko whenever he put that up.

If you want a name to look into with a real conspiracy behind it, look into Matt Redhawk. The owner of My Patriot Supply, and the one who eventually passed the site onto Darko. Matt worked for Alex Jones for a lot of years, or rather, worked with him selling his overpriced nonsense on Infowars making them millions a week. I think ATS was bought by Matt initially to advertise those same products and it didn't pan out for him. He has money to burn for sure, and he eventually said # it and gave it over to his friend Darko. And now here we all are.

Thank you for posting. Yes, ATS can be toxic, which is why I took a hiatus. After a few months, it may be necessary again. ☹️
