I think the point in retaliatory is any one of those titles in point are worthy of noting in length alone not to mind your attempt of throwing it all at us alla cart in an introduction but I'm willing to be patient somewhat so, I shall try to understand at least.

Err.... what's "true north"? Magnetic north or rotational north?

True North is 90 degrees to the equator. In modern times in the northern hempsihere lines up with the pole star that can change over time. Temple alignments using this caliibration are more difficult to achieve than magnetic north but have the advantage that they are calibrated to the stars. The three prymids of Giza being a good example an din itslelf is a statement saying there is a relationship between the stars and these pryamids.
The shafts line up up with sirius (isis / ast) Orion ( Osirius) and theban- the north star in the past.

About the symbols thing sir, may I add, most every symbol created is without meaning so you are downright wrong about such claims on either topic.
No that is how it has been done for the most part, create a symbol, what does it mean?? It doesn't have a meaning. Similar to a filter in a way and your hip hop doesn't help the matter if you will.

I understand and I hope you get the spirit of my response was to cheer you onward to plow thru that crap. All of this, daily, is a new thing because people are different. Joining the noise of the difference can feel over the top. Having grown up around clowns who made fun of people I can say I didn't appreciate a lot of it either. I did learn to focus more on the message and not the messenger in those situations.

The logic of walking away from what we perceive as unnecessary BS as you are doing has a place. Is this the place to draw that line right now is the question? For me "right now" has way more dynamic things that are happening in the world than when I joined ATS. There is something to be found wading in to the fray I believe. KUDOS for being you and holding your ground. I do like to see other's share what they learned here with the understanding it is a put up or shut up type world, and the world don't care if we aren't ready for it.

Seeing as your quite rude response is directed at me, I feel I have a duty to respond.

Firstly, the "It's about respect" comment is frankly outrageous. You think you are owed automatic respect simply because you're running some sort of web based business which involves your supposedly in depth & advanced occult information, because you gave your real name? That's laughable.

On this forum, as in life, you either deliver the goods you promised, or the deal is off. Why should we automatically show you some grandiose mafia don 'respect' when you get ridiculously upset & offended, threatening to give up & go home, taking your mystical soccer ball with you so the rest of us are left feeling cheated, simply because people pointed out that you broke the site rules?

You can earn your respect the same way everyone else has in this place - by sharing your thoughts openly & truthfully, by respecting the doubts & questions of others, and especially by respecting the personhood of others as being sovereign entities not bound over to leading a life making you feel a bit better about yourself just for showing up & announcing how awesome you are? Take for instance in your first post, about how Coronal Mass Ejections IS the ankh symbol. That’s one hell of a statement. Do i just accept that as truth? Of course not. I accept it as an idea, and am still awaiting for how CMEs are the ankh. I have done a google search to see if there is anything out there with similarities regarding it, and found not much. I have done my own research on the ankh, and never has CMEs been introduced regarding it.

I was wondering about that one, too, given how often the word 'ankh' appears in very common Egyptian texts and images (such as the pharaoh offering an ankh to various goddesses) in contexts that is impossible to align with CME's.

It really does mean "life" and is found in many expressions.

If they'd meant something about consciousness, they would have added a determinative that looks like a papyrus scroll (and means something like This Word is a Really Intellectual Concept) - Y1 in the Gardiner's Sign List to indicate it.

Although *horribly* outdated, you can see the sources that were used to decipher this in Budge's dictionaries. (The Faulkner dictionary, digitized by Jergovic has loads of examples but does not show where and when the hieroblyphic text was found - which is kind of a loss but understandable given how far the study of hieroglyphs has come since Budge wrote his two volume dictionary.

Most of the things dealing with "higher consciousness" actually involve the "ib" (the heart)... since they thought the brain was just "head intestines" (no kidding... that's how it's described on the walls of Karnak.)
