16 Year Old Honor Student Shot Twice For Ringing Doorbell

I live next door to a retired Navy Master Chief. Real Nice Guy. Mid 70's. One night my son ordered Uber Eats. Around 11. The driver went next door by mistake instead of my house.

We live on a few aces and so does he. My son walked over and suddenly heard the Uber driver yelling about a gun.

Sure enough, he came out with his 44 (he has a #ton of guns) demanding to know how was in his driveway. He drew down on the driver as well as my son who was walking out of the dark bushes. Could have been a very had scene.

People of a different age but these same people are seeing rioting like in Chicago and it is....young black males. Look up online and please post a recent link of 60 white kids robbing a CVS or 7-11.

Who created this? The Media and the elected officials. Fear.

It is a stand your ground state, so guess we will see how this plays out.

Hopefully he doesn't get away with this. People go door to door for delivery, sales, and other means. You can't just shoot someone for being at your door.

The guy was probably a racist considering I doubt this is the first time a person went to his door.

Latest local update is that KCPD has given the case file to the Clay Co prosecutor. A news conference has been scheduled for 5pm.

I don't know whether to expect charges yet. Seems like they would need to go over the file?

Guy is 80. Kid showed up after 10 which is late for random calls.

There are reports this man's house has been vandalized.

There are more reasons than just race. That doesn't make any of them good, but we don't know and won't for w while. Could it be race? Yes, but it could also be dementia and mistaken identity.

nevermind that post, i didn't know he was alert and aware when he made it to the house where they called 911, i thought his family was making up stuff in ignorance and anger, but he told the person who called what happened and probably actually talked to his family after surgery.

Like I said, go ahead and assume the kid ringing your doorbell is likely up to no good and shoot him on the spot. You have a 50/50 chance of not going to prison.

Buy an island, genetic test everyone before they move there and form your little Utopia. The U.S. was never an all white country. As white people were not the first ones living here.

On the other hand, there could also be more to the story. Was it confirmed there was a party or is that just the cover story? If it was late at night, kid didnt find it strange that house probably didnt look like there was a party going on?

Tragic but i have to withhold judgment until more facts come out.

The 'youth' didn't find it strange that it didn't look like a party was going on, because that is probably just a story made up by him and his family, to explain why he was trying to burgle an elderly white man's house at 10pm. But don't forget - no matter how many horrific crimes blacks commit against white people, they are always the victims. Otherwsie those damn white people just might manage to get AWAY from blacks, and that would be just awful, apparently. Who for?

To this I agree. However, I like to look at all aspects of something to make sure nothing is missed. If I was a cop I would ask how he got there. Also, how many 16 year olds do not have their phone. I mean, I know it happens but...then, he gets shot and if this is a decent neighborhood...no one opened a door. The story says that he went to three houses and no one called 911. Wanna bet a fin those homes will be owned by non-POC?

I would also ask about the siblings to make sure the 'story' is correct. That is all.

Like I stated, he might have a hood in the closet and if so charge him but there is something missing here.

Remember 'little' Trayvon Martin, and how the media used a photo of him from five years or more BEFORE, to make him look like an innocent little boy, just sickening.

White Americans are being punished routinely for using their guns in self defense against blacks. Democrat and Soros funded DAs are as corrupt as the day is long. They want blacks to be able to kill white people with completely impunity.

Sure there could be more to the story. However, not sure what "black crime" has to do with wether or not you can shoot someone for simply being at your doorstep.
