If I want to admire life in tide pools, spherical earth offers the best modeling and predictions when I should go down to the beach

If I want to travel by kayak down river to the sea, spherical has the best predictions on when and how the tide will be going out to make the trip easier.

If I want to see comets. Spherical earth modeling offers the best explication how to find, and track comets. When the best time to see comets, and why.

When traveling, especially south of the equator, spherical earth offers the most accurate routes.

So. For navies traveling the world, shipping, wanting to know when the next solar eclipse will be, knowing when the next comet will be visible to the naked eye will be, the best time to row down river to the ocean bay, or just wanting to take the kid down to the beach to explore tide pools to marvel at creation. Spherical earth is far from meaningless.

No one is going to give you a free rocket ride just to prove to you the world is spherical. However, if they find the funding to re-open the state mental hospitals..................

No. I’m posting about FE is useless in predicting and navigating things that are or were important in my life. Knowing when low tide is, when the tide is coming in or out, the phases of the moon for amateur astronomy, predicting solar or lunar eclipses, looking at Saturn and Jupiter through a telescope, watching the sun set over the Pacific Ocean, navigating to Australia, why you can’t see the North Star when far enough south of the equator, why when looking a the Chicago skyline across Lake Michigan why the amount of visible skyline changes with weather and amount of refraction.

Can you show how FE can make accurate or more accurate predictions, modeling, and navigation.

From the items listed, how is flat earth any use to me?

Just wanted to take the time, to say that this has to be the best title ever for a Flatsy™ thread ever !

There is no evidence for a flat earth, the idea is silly nonsense that was disproved thousands of years ago. There is, however, plenty of evidence for a spherical Earth. Which he displayed.
