Also ironic, those are the types who claim to champion being free speech absolusionists. I think people forget that freedom of expression is tied to that, and this means people are going to utilize that in ways that are different than our own.

But anyone comfortable in their beliefs should be able to know and hear about all ways and only solidify their own.

You also have to protect those you disagree with the most as that’s where death by a thousand cuts begins.

So the patriot act set the stage for any political dissident to be called a terrorist. We saw specific groups get spied on because of that.

Hell, the ACLU had Jewish lawyers defending the rights for neonazis to march. It’s easy for everyone to say I don’t like Nazis, but we see the line blur to everyone I don’t like is a a Nazi.

It's all lip service. Most of them also pretend to love the Constitution but only when it applies to them.

aggrievements are the name of the game for a while. If the people complaining weren't pissed off they'd have no other emotion to show.

Maybe the capabilities and limits of communication via the Internet predispose people to act and react like that. We adapt to our environments.

I yield to the temptation to add that natural selection will thereafter do the rest.

Russia also is Western Civilization...

And we all have a Nazi globalist problem that people are latching on to under the banner of the hijacked so-called "Democracy"

The German people fell for it so why not again.

Democracy requires a virtuous man, of which we all have very few of in the Halls of Justice.

People may enter politics with certain intentions but are quickly caught up in it to benefit financially or they're ostracized.

Well I don't see a lack of democracy as the problem in Russia, but rather the Nazi globalist ideology in control of media and civil society. Russia still has free elections, are you aware of that? While Putin made the decision to start this war I don't think we can put all the blame on him. The people of Russia still enabled him to stay in power so long.

I for one would prefer a world dominated by Russia and China since they are such super awesome places filled with rainbow-farting unicorns and no one ever gets disappeared for free expression in either one of those countries.

That sounds exactly like America, rainbow flags and butterflies and unicorns along with deplatforming to cancel culture in effect silencing the freedom of speech/expression.

This article explains what the war in Ukraine is about.

Its not about Democracy,Freedom its about the West/Anglo World Order and its Authority in the world.
Whose Authority? the US.
The west/US doesn't want peaceful competition nor co existing with its diversities.

The West/US want those in Europe or anywhere to be America's vassals without questioning America's actions on the world stage.
Ukraine’s fate will determine the West’s authority in the world

It's paywalled...but anyway.

The US aim is to break German dependence on Russian fossil fuels, and to destroy the Russian economy into the bargain. Thereby ending any possibility of trade relations, whilst bringing Germany back totally under US control and dependaance. Basically reinforcing their status as a vassal and removing any ideas of sovereignty. The neocon nutters have been saying they want to break this partnership for a long time. The US blowing Nordstream might have made that obvious.

Russia is showing the world that you can still get by whilst being the most sanctioned country on earth. Even while beating the entire west in a proxy war at the same time. Along with US military failures and generally losing their mojo (they have become a laughing stock) this is emboldening emerging countries to look for a way of trading that bypasses the US financial system. This would have been unthinkable once, they'd have been coup'd quicker that you can say "illegal invasion".

Helped by countries such as China, India (who will have much larger economies than the US by next decade) Brazil and various others. It's being set in place. There will be problems along the way, mostly because the US will do anything to stop it, but when they get going properly they will be a formidable trading bloc.

The US have done this to themselves really. By being the country equivalent of a pathological bully/ malignant narcissist.

The US military and certain three letter agencies are just an arm of Wall St used to make countries comply economically, but they can't coup or invade everyone. They might try to throw a spanner in the works via a big dust up with China. Not sure how as China is too entwined and important economically and also too smart for a proxy war. The US might have to gamble everything on a direct conflict (which they would lose). Certainly seem crazy enough.

At best in the next decade or so the US will be a shrinking economy and just another currency of many, at worst it will be saddled with a huge military and wars it can't afford, a debt it can't maintain and a dwindling economy with the worlds largest collection of extant war criminals. They are now a finance economy and the only thing they export any more are wars.

This is the last fart of a dying empire. It became obvious under dubbya, is picking up speed now and will probably have something of an exponential to it in the end. It doesn't have to though, could still just fade away, but it s days as top dog are gone.

You should move to Russia or China if you hate the United States so much, let us know how it all works out for you. I doubt you or anyone else will because the people who complain about being victims and martyrs the most don't really want to know what it feels like to be a real victim or martyr.

They'd love it. It's a chance to move somewhere that the vast majority of the populace is all on the same page with the government.

the west hit the end of the road by not fixing the corruption from 2007/8.. instead it embedded the corruption into its core..

while the west was busy locking down and deindustrialising the chinese where working hard to overtake the west.. and they are on course to do just that..

Plenty of rampant corruption and state monopolies in China through.

Same with the yawning wealth gap that's becoming the colour of their day.

Never mind the rising cost of housing, education, and medical care.

And there there is the fact that China's population is aging faster in her quest to become developed more than any other nation in modern history.

China's not exactly a bed or roses or anything reminiscent of such.

Same crap, same problems to contend with, just with slightly different wrapping paper.

A liberal leaning documentary with some crafty time-frame editing of events but nonetheless attempts to give the viewers the perception of an unbiased opinion.

I listened closely to the factory workers and the farmers, the normal everyday folk trying to pay their mortage and stuff like everyday problems most Americans face.

As opposed to mama's boy Constantine the deserter who can't even look you in the eye, and the zero-life-experience Finnish Nazi teen with the haircut to match.

She has 150k bots following her on tiktok that's why no one showed up for her event...
