I'm going to be really pissed if this is a PR stunt to sell tickets for Co Caine Bear.

Never a dull moment here in the USA, I think the strangest part is the frequency of the activity and then the order to shoot down the craft all in a neat and nice time line. I'm suspicious.

Where's the footage?!

Any confrontation in the military is considered "classified" until they declassify .

Nothing wrong with discussing operation bluebeam on a conspiracy site given the circumstance.. This is factually a psyops operation. They have chosen to release this information now having known the existence of such craft for decades.

Yes, and the big question is why now ?

I have found the language they have used incredibly odd. I cannot figure out if they are trying to distract us with a false agenda or they are trying to downplay something more serious going on. Something feels very off about the whole thing to me, surely if they are trying to use the apparent threat of ufo's as a cover for all the different nefarious things happening right now why would they hold a press conference during the super bowl when people will most likely be watching that, amongst other things.

Seems like a half arsed attempt. Also does nobody else think its odd that 2 Russian satellites had exactly the same mechanical failure and exploded just before all of this?

The military isn’t going to release any footage unless they’re certain you can’t get much information from it. That takes time to scrub. So it’s going to be a minute before anything is shown.

That sucks. We pay their salaries and they're going to intentionally keep us in the dark?

It wasn't two satellites in one week, it was one for the second time. Kosmos 2499 was a classified satellite that wasn't on the launch list when it launched in 2014. In 2019 there was an explosion that left 22 pieces of debris. There was a second explosion that caused it to break apart and leave 85 pieces of debris. It's believed to be a low intensity explosion caused by the new thrusters reportedly being tested on it.

But this is actually the second breakup event of Kosmos 2499. The first fragmentation occurred on October 23, 2021, according to Jonathan McDowell, an astronomer at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics who also tracks space debris. That event created 22 pieces of trackable debris.

That's how it's always been. Classified information has always been kept from the public, as has information that gives up too much data to potential opponents.

My question is. If they are alien. Why are they letting their probes to be shot down without firing at our planes? It seems they would have a method of protecting these objects.

Maybe the "probes" are normally invisible but something has disrupted their cloaking ability rendering them vulnerable.

I think they are supposed to be of Chinese origin not Romulan.

Apparently, the lack of previous detection is to do with the way the software utilized for detection was configured.

Not sure as to the veracity of the statement all the same, but that is the claim.

The only object so far confirmed to be Chinese is the initial balloon shot down off the coast of South Carolina. The origin of all the "objects" since then has not yet been determined or made public.

The point is UnknownOrigin they are not going to be alien or have a cloaking ability.

Bar the current radar detection systems software being told to ignore the anomalies up until now.

Chances are any information gleaned from the Chinese surveillance balloon.

Or any of these other ""objects"" will never be made public or see the light of day.

Because it would simply be counter-productive to any information gathered on the technology.

You make a very significant point here.

I think the claim was very poorly considered.

You see, what they have revealed with this statement is that they are relying solely on technology/programming algorithms to 'protect our airspace.' That would indirectly imply a potentially great weakness in our operational systems...

NOTHING should ever replace human observation. A computer that is "programmed" to detect things parametrically denies the reality that it will not recognize or react properly to an 'unknown' phenomenon... only humans say "hmmm.. that's interesting, let's take a closer look." Computers say "anomaly - log it."

Human observation must be included in defense monitoring - not machines alone. People alone can do it, computer automation enhances that greatly... but machines alone cannot adequately replace human decision-making, nor apply intuitive insight to situations that arise... most competent military leaders KNOW this to be a fact.

So, saying something like "the computer missed it" or "we found out after the fact" is an admission of defense posture that lacks diligent human attention... I wonder if there is a shortage of that now that every Tom, Dick, and Harry military contractor has pretended that their automation made human interaction "no longer necessary."

I saw today in an article that someone in the gov is now saying that the wreckage may never be recovered, because of where each one went down. The whole Alaska one makes no sense to me, because that water is entirely frozen is it not? You would think you would see it clear as day being that it's just flat white everywhere else...

There was someone from Alaska in the area posting tiktoks of our military flying around each day looking for the wreckage, yesterday was the first day he posted to say no aircraft have been there all day, they were gone. It seems they either gave up or found something.

Here's where he says there's no air traffic here

"a minute"?

an hour? many hours?

a day? many days?

weeks......

Time's up.

The sanitation process is taking too long. The delay is fomenting discord and ever-more suspicion. It's 1947 all over again. The longer they take to release something, anything -the more conspicuous their need for even more time to weave a plausible narrative. That's bad PR.

They'll need to cough up another morsel soon. A 'tumbling fuzzy white dot in the distance' to keep the 'journalists' at bay. Not the real thing, of course, nor the best. Sure would love to see a few hi-res shots from the gun camera on those birds.

*sigh*

I can't recall them ever releasing F-22 HUD footage, so that pretty much rules out three of the four. The F-16 footage may be released, but since that was the most recent, it's still being scrubbed before release.

Whatever the Administration does or doesn't do regarding the shot-down UFO's, it's MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

The "Mission", as viewed from the BIDEN Administration - To Distract from our Administration allowing a Chinese spy platform to slowly navigate over the heart of our nation, collecting data...day after day, after day, after day, after day, after day...
