The average lifespan in the US has lost 2 years since 2020.
So, in that respect, at least...time is actually speeding up.
I blame Joe Biden.

your spot on...
as I slow down, time remains constant, But i restrict my 'projects' to what i can complete in a half-day or full-day
so world events flash by... but my bubble-of-time seems to lose speed in getting things done...
good luck sorting it out

This perception may be due to a few factors, Kesari points out, firstly that when we're children, a year of life amounts to much more time of existence, percentage-wise.
“For a 10-year-old, one year is 10 percent of their lives,” Kesari says. “For a 60-year-old, one year is less than two percent of their lives.”
Additionally, when we are children, we are constantly being introduced to new things and ideas that leave lasting impressions on our memories.
“We gauge time by memorable events and fewer new things occur as we age to remember, making it seem like childhood lasted longer,” Kesari says.
