Time seems to be speeding up

Does anyone else get that feeling ? Days, weeks, months , seems like they are going by way faster and faster. Like time has sped up.

I have nothing to back this up except damn Its already Sunday, that went fast. Maybe its just a getting older thing

I know the saying time fly's when you're having fun but I haven't been having any fun . So what gives?

maybe time is like a funnel and we are getting closer to the bottom

But I was just curious if anyone else feels it or am I just crazy ?

I am getting older Im almost 60 so been getting older for a while. but this seems like just the last few years an uptick .

I used to think how unfair it seemed that People have an average lifespan of 75-80 years...and the average dog has a maximum lifespan of 15 years.

Watch how time will fly when you turn 65 and realize that if you get a puppy...it will likely outlive you.

As I get older, I slow down so it seems as if time is speeding up. Then again some days seem to drag on and on, inexplicably.

I'm going to go with you're getting older also...

That's exactly how I'd explain the last 10 years of my life...just blown by and I have no idea how...time seemed to just fly by and there seems like there is no reasonable explanation.

I heard old people talk about time flying by...I suppose I thought it was just an old people thing back then. Now that I'm getting older...it's all making perfect sense.

That's the funny thing about time...it truly is the great revealer. Everything, in time will be revealed, whether or not we're around for that revelation is another story, but time does reveal everything IMO.

Welcome to getting older...try and embrace it! Reflect on important things and learn not to take precious moments for granted. There is some wisdom is recognizing everything is constantly changing...including ourselves.

It's normal. happens to everyone. The older you get the faster time goes by. look where almost in February already.

Well I guess I am asking the young bucks if time is flying for them .

Getting older is the answer as many have already pointed out.

When you're young 1 year is a larger percentage of your life.

As you get older, 1 year becomes an increasingly smaller percentage of your life.

The average lifespan in the US has lost 2 years since 2020.
So, in that respect, at least...time is actually speeding up.

I blame Joe Biden.
