Is there a point in trying to wake people up considering they have access to the internet?
Hmmmm... I think a better question to ask is if anyone
should be trying to "wake people up."
The fundamental premise is that you know the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, and the other person is ignorant/stupid/wrong. And
quite frankly, none of us know the whole truth, and none of us are in a position to tell other people what to think/believe.
But even if someone does know the whole truth, and another does not, what right does anyone have to force their knowledge on anyone else? None.
People have the right to be ignorant if they so choose.
We have the right and privilege to share our knowledge and opinions with those open to hearing it. That's it.
Those who want knowledge and facts and truth will be open to hearing new information and more information. Those who aren't interested, won't hear no
matter how often or how loud they are told.
