So when Alice Cooper's touring guitarist Nita Strauss does solo stuff you know it's gonna shred at the highest level alongside Slash and all the
greats.
Pair her with one of metal's top vocalists, Alissa White-Gluz "Von Frankenstein" of Arch Enemy (one of my favorite bands) and The Agonist (until
2014), and you get another stellar collaboration.
This song blew me away. Especially the immaculate solo and final chorus. Up there for Metal Song of the year.
Bonus:
I came across this as suggested by YouTube. As a long time Sepultura fan I enjoyed this cover quite a bit. Amazingly Lauren Hart sounds exactly like
Max.

I love threads like this.
I love metal too and I also am a big sucker for female singers and not just in metal.
Probably dating myself with a few of these lol
I still will never understand how screaming in "exorcist voice" or making the sound I let out on the toilet when a big one is coming out is considered
singing.
LOL.
For modern day bands, Nightwish and Within Temptation are 2nd to none.
My Band VATICAN opened for the Great Kat in Cleveland Ohio & Pittsburgh! She is a different kind of metal guitarist and rude as hell! Myself being
known as a Cleveland shredded I intimated her.
That's her gig scantily clad woman guitarist that smells like sex.
Nightwish was one of the most phenomenal shows I have ever seen. I was a fan when they had Tarja and Floor made me more of a fan. At that show
Kamelot was opening, which introduced me to Elize Ryd of Amaranthe. Another spectacular Northern European female vocalist. Which seems to be a
common theme. As well as how much fire can be put into every video.
What the first video comment says: A Swedish band covering a Swedish band's song about an American war hero killing Germans.
The banshee screaming ones are an acquired taste. I think they're freaking awesome though. The throat for harsh vocals has a range so broad you can do
it if completely tone deaf. Like most of your male fronted bands that growl or scream.
It's just cooler when women do it, not so dime a dozen.

I love love love Nightwish. Floor is amazing, but if I have to be honest, I still prefer Tarja. She was the lead way back when I started listening to
them and she just has a special place in my memories.
