Los Angeles hit-and-run driver who plowed into mom and baby in stolen car is murdered after light sentence
Kristopher Baca, 17-year-old who ran over a mother walking her baby in a stroller in 2021 and received just a few months of diversionary camp as
punishment was gunned down in Palmdale, California, this week. Baca pleaded guilty to the the hit-and-run case last year and was a topic of
conversation when according to Fox News, the “Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon's office sought a five- to seven-month sentence in
juvenile probation camp, a punishment for young offenders described as less severe than military school but harsher than summer camp.” The troubled
teen was already on felony probation at the time of the hit-and-run.
The video clip shows a stolen vehicle speeding the wrong way down a one-way backstreet. It plowed into a woman walking her baby in a stroller. Then he
hit the gas, accelerating away from the scene, where a good Samaritan in a pickup truck rammed the suspect vehicle head on. Los Angeles police
responded and found drugs in the driver’s system and marijuana in the car, according to an incident report obtained by Fox News.
The case made national headlines last year when Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon's office sought a five- to seven-month sentence in
juvenile probation camp, a punishment for young offenders described as less severe than military school but harsher than summer camp.
Gascon’s office told Fox News Digital at the time that the sentence was "an appropriate resolution."

Twitter comments: Vigilante justice sometimes needed when you have a corrupt system, and the inmates are over running the asylum!
...I love a happy ending to a story...If Gascon had done his job, this guy would have been behind bars but all he got for the hit & run was 5-7 months
probationary youth camp.
And this teen was already on felony probation for poisoning a high school girl's drink at the time of the hit & run...This kid already had a felony
conviction, stole the car that hit this lady & drove off.
Gascon charged him to Camp Juvie & not longer sentence at Juvie Hall. Gascon's light sentence was detrimental to the kid, his family & public.
Interesting. I was thinking just the other day that these lax Leftis tpolicies would lead to a sorta Wild West environment with people taking justice
into thei own hands. And why not, you take revenge and you get out the same day without having to post bail. This is gonna turn medieval before long.
Lady Justice is Blind. With the lack of order in California, this does not surprise me. However, he was making decisions like a man, and could have
been tried as an adult. The Death Sentence could have been on the table. Some folks in California, felt a certain way about his sentence...
i suppose it's possible it was Vigilante Justice, which if it was was very fitting. but more than likely it was this POS life style and other thugs
took him out.
either way karma is a bitch and there's one less POS in the world.
At Minimum if they had locked him up
till all his schooling was finished, and a psychological
evaluation done before any 'rehabilitation' could
be determine . . .
But obviously something is way off and rotten
with that judge and their court prosecutors.
Not a fan of extrajudicial murder, if that's what this is. Vigilantism is not a path to a good future for any society.
If he was just murdered because of the company he kept, then that's a different matter. Sadly, some people are just unable to function in a normal
life, and "birds of a feather flock together," as the saying goes.
This was a 17 year old on probation for POISONING a girl's drink. He should have already been in prison for that crime alone. That
fact shows that Gascon doesn't take crime seriously. After watching the video of Bacca plowing into the young mother and her 8 month old son, it is
clear that he took no measures to avoid her when he had plenty of time and space to steer away from her. In fact, it appears he ran into them on
purpose. You can see in the video that the mother sees and/or hears him coming, stops walking and actually backs up a bit and waits to see what is
going on but can't avoid him plowing directly into them.
I see also that the killing of Bacca might have been the result of an argument completely unrelated to the woman (Rachel) he hit and her son. But
like she said "The universe delivered the justice we weren't given in court, but a much harsher punishment than he'd have been dealt in a court of
law."
