I have found a video of Bush doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING immediately after learing of the terrorist attacks FOR 5 MINUTES. This is a disgrace. I would laugh at this idiot if it weren't so patheticaly sad.

www.thememoryhole.org...

YOu can see the still photos which are done in 5 second increments or watch the whole 5 minutes.

Its just disgusting.

What's disgusting is your continuos bombardment of the President.

He was probably shocked beyond comprehension. He was responsible for all of those people. He didn't know who it was or anything. It could've been the beginning of a nuclear war for crying out loud!!!

What would you have done in the situation? Order the immediate destruciton of Iraq, Afghanistahn, N. Korea, Russia, Mexico? He had no idea who it was.

Humour me,

I would have left the room IMMEDIATELY, escorted by the Secret Service, to speak with my advisors to assess the situatoin and search for the berst courseof action. PEOPLE WERE DYING and he just sits there like nothing is wrong and hangs out withthe kiddies.

Now, here's the scandal part. Is the natural reaction to an attack on American soil, which has never happend, elicit the the nonchalant response Bush is expressing for 5 MINUTES or would you expect something else?

On the other hand, if Bush KNEW it was gonna happen, then would you expect a nonchalant response?

The Bush Crime Family strikes again.

Not trying to protect anyone here Colonel, but I was home 9/11 and to be perfectly honest, when I saw the first towers hit, I said "damn". I saw the second hit and I was awed to the point of not moving myself...I was befuddled to say the least....then the news of the Pentagon hit came and the sense of helplessness I felt was so overwhelming that I'm sure I was dazzed, for quite awhile.

I understand he is the president and all, but I think, in my case anyhoo, I would have been "dumb-struck" for a few minutes myself.

Trying to give an unbiased bit here Colonel so don't go all ballistic and such.....I am only going on how I felt when I saw the stuff happen, on TV, before my eyes is all.

I'm not gonna go ballistic. Damn, you must think I'm a loose cannon or something. Admittedly, I felt the same way as you. However, as president, in a position of safeguarding the American people. he cannot afford to have the same stunned reaction. However, from the photos, he doesn't looked too stunned.

Furthermore, why didn't his staff or the Secret Service drag him out of there? HE could have been in danger. They didn't. What's wrong with this picture.

Sure, I'll take your word for it.
After all, your a liberal, you would have saved everyone right then. You don't neeed to think for yourself, let everyone else tell you what to do. That's why you would've been elected President, right. For being a leader who does what other peopel teell him to do without thought.

I bet a great democrat like yourself whe cares so much about the people would've been out there in Ground Zero with all of the firefighters and policemen who died.
They didn't care about politcal alliances. They cared about America and it's people. That's why everyone loves them.

After all, Bush is such a coward, it took him a whole week to strike back. I geuss you would've nuked Afghanistahn by the 13th, rgiht? Speed is efficeincy.

Worried about some people,

exactly, I was shocked. My brother was at the Pentagon the morning fo the attack. I didn't do anything for at least an hour. I tried to call him, but all of the city's phones were jammed.

To anyone who saw it happen, it was like having Armageddon slap you in the face.

I locked my house's door and got my shottie out. I had the $hit scared out of me.

While I dont like President Bush at all I do think the Those five minutes where he didnt do anything is brought up way too much. I mean he was in front of kids. You dont want to scare the living daylights out of them. What was he supposed to do? Grab the chair and dive under it while saying "We're under attack!!!!!!"I mean I was rather shocked myself when i saw that happen in class. To the point of where my mouth was hanging open. He probably just wanted to see calm in the face of danger like the cowboy he thinks he is.

The LEAST he could've done was excuse himself as any real president would in a time of crisis...that is if he was surprised by it.

I can't answer none of your questions Colonel, seriously. I'm not claiming he didn't know something or did know something.

All I am doing is trying to relay what I know countless thousands upon thousands witnessed...I was one....it is something I don't think I will ever forget.

Again, I'm not protecting him, but I can diffently see why he might have acted as he did...I don't know to be honest...... I do know, it is still transfixed in my mind and I can relate to the sense of awe and helplessness today....

Thanks for not taking my comments wrong.

I was watching one of the cable news nets and I saw the commentators speaking about the first tower and just thought, ironically, that a plane had flew into it.

Then...........I saw with surreal horror, the second plane strike the tower...if I had been told of this, I may not have believed it to be true for it not me seeing it live.

Ridiculous .................

Nah, we're cool. I just think its rather suspicious the way he acted and then afterward when he was nowhere in sight for hours. Then, the silence on invstigation as to the stock trades made the day before 9-11. Too Suspicious.

...and I believe weeks later Bush himself said he did not want to seem upset in front of the kids...he said he came to read to them and he was going to finish....I think, and I have small stepchildren, most adults have been in a place when you have to hold back your fear to protect those little ones who can not understand yourfear.

It also seems I have posted this same before about a month ago in response..........

Yeah my little sister called me from her class and asked me to come get her.
Children have every right to be scared.
And it's the responsibilities of adults to protect them from their fears.

Good work Dubya

so colnel what exactally would you have him do? if you were in his shoes, what would you have done? lets say you are president, reading stories to a bunch of school children, in an elementary school. and you find out something terrible has happened, what do you do? grab the nearest playschool plastic phone, call the pentagon? keep in mind that this video is after the first hit on the WTC perhaps he's thinking this is a terrible accident, only after the second hit does he do anything. so you see you are reaching for straws that aren't there. next time try to come up with something a little more well put together.

Listen, it's not the fact that he didn't do nothing for 5 minutes which bothers me. It's the fact that when his advisor told him of what was happening he stepped away and awaited no response from the President. Surely it is his job to wait for a response? But he KNEW the President didn't have a response, because he knew what was going to happen.
Just look at the video, these are not the actions of someone who has just been told this news. Surely he should have gave some kind of response to his Advisor. ANYTHING. No, there was NOTHING. I'm sorry this is not someone in shock, and it is not someone trying to protect the kids. This is someone who was expecting this news.

Before I get attacked with liberal, I am not a liberal and I am not attacking the Republican party. I am attacking this particular gang of muderers and thugs that is the Bush Administration.
Surely Republicans even you wish for a better leader than this sorry excuse for a man, someone who can inspire you into great things. Don't attack me, deep down you know Bush is not the leader you are seeking, just be honest and don't take this as an attack on Republicans.

Rant over.
