Orthodox Jews seem to answer yes!

Talmud Prophecy Rav Shlomo Yehudah is the specific name of interest now.
Wars in 7th year and in 8th year the Jewish Messiah comes. Possibly the Ukraine/Russia war.

2 messiahs 1 Jewish and one Christian? This is the first I heard that.

Shlomo memorized the Torah at a young age and has healed people or so they claim. Many of the older rabbis are in support of him. Could he actually be the False Prophet or even antichrist?

I read something about some rabbi's in israel mentioning they met the messiah. This was months ago. Interesting to hear it pop up again.

I would assume it should be a war relevant to Israel territory directly. And I think Jewish eschatology is set. The messianic age starts in the year 6000. Still 217 years to go.

Dismissive answers aside...

It's important to consider the source of most Jewish Messianic writings. It was ALL second temple or later. Writing under the annexation of Persia. Cyrus The Great himself garnering messiah applause for knocking the son of the morning off his Babylonian tower and freeing them again.

This late messianic turn of Judaism opened the door to christianity. But alas Jesus was a prophet not a messiah. Much like how Ba'al's Monolatry opened the door for Yahweh's monotheism Late prophertic Jewish writings set up revelations. And like Jewish writings they were usually in DIRECT reference to history or current events.

I feel Revelation was a condemnation of Domitian. Was written at the right time and parallels the things he was doing to early Christians. He came in and put the hammer down on the new ways and inspired writings of the wrath he would incur.

I feel the mistake with writings like Judeo-Christian prophecy or later Nostradamus is it will always be filtered through a confirmation bias that can apply it as widely as a horoscope.

I will call it The Harold Camping Fallacy. A preference to lens all ambiguous texts into something that is relevant to your own world.

Do you know why the answers can be dismissive?

Because the prophecies in the Bible about the parousia are so specific, that this can be easily dismissed.

Just to add to that. They have four red heifers for their sacrifice. They only need one at the time. At the moment the four meet the requirements for the sacrifice other than age. They need to be the age of two. At the moment they are around one. They will be set to do this sacrifice which will allow them to start the third temple. This will likely happen next winter.

Actually, they don't (according to the many rabbit holes I perused.)

Now, there's a boatload of videos and TikTok material on this guy, praising him to the high heavens and framing him as THE Messiah. There are Jews who believe he has unusual gifts and who respect and admire him for those gifts. But it's mostly Christians (or semi-Christians/lapsed Christians/no-longer-going-to-church-because-of-the-unBiblical-teachings Christians who are waving the "Messiah" flag.

I'm not seeing a lot of Hasidic Jews waving this symbol over him (they are the group of Jews who believe there is a potential messiah born in every generation - so under this understanding, Hassidics *might* consider him a generatiuonal messiah.)

(BTW, there's a difference between "a messiah" and "the Messiah." There have been many acknowledged messiahs (which means someone was anointed with oil and not an Incredible Prophecy Fulfilled) but no acknowledged Messiah among Jews see Wikipedia article for details)

This man is not popular enough to be listed on any of the lists of known Messiah claimants


So... does he fit the description? Wikipedia puts it pretty succinctly: "a future Jewish king from the Davidic line, who will be "anointed" with holy anointing oil, to be king of God's kingdom, and rule the Jewish people during the Messianic Age. In Judaism,"

* is he a king?
* has he been anointed king?
* is he a great political leader?
* is he descended from the line of David?
* has the Messianic Age started?
* have the Jews returned to Israel?

So the answers would be "no, no, no, don't know, probably not, and not all of them."

Someone who would better fit the idea (if you need a pattern) was David Ben-Gurion primary founder of Israel and the first Israeli prime minister.

This isn't about miracles. It's about political power.

Christians are the ones looking for a miracle worker.

We possibly could be in an age of coming turmoil.

The 18th century Jewish sage Vilna Gaon is said through family connections to have predicted the arrival of the messiah. The first prediction was fulfilled when Russians captured the city of Crimea in 2014. His arrival very imminent when Russia reaches the city of Constantinople (Istanbul today).

There is also a prophecy in 1914 by St. Pope Giuseppe Pius X's. In which he saw vision of people fleeing over dead bodies at the Vatican. A future pope by the same name (Joseph is Giuseppe in English) will take refuge in some hiding place, but after a short time, he too will face a cruel death. There has been no other pope by the same name except for Pope Joseph Benedict XVI who still remains at the Vatican aged 95 yo. It is very possible this prophecy is also related to third secret of the Fatima that was released in 2000....

To answer you're question I would say yes based on a couple of prophesies.

Put as simply as possible it appears that by killing John the Baptist the first century Jews triggered a curse in Malachi 4. Found the details in Hosea but the timeline for the curse is 2000 years. Followed by a thousand year day of Jezreel. Being it's a bible curse and the Jewish temple fell in 70 AD that would seem the curse started in the 25-35AD timeframe. (They take about a generation for the full effects to kick in.) This curse should be over soon.

2nd prophecy is in John 2. Jesus Christ claimed if he was killed he would restore his body in 3 days. But him being the Lord then he's claiming he would restore it in 3000 years. 2033 is the 2000 year mark. Then that means he's claiming the 1000 year reign of the saints starts around 2033. Or 10 years from now.

3rd prophecy. Book of Zechariah predicts that the Lord has 2 branches or personal assistants. Each one is to build a Jewish temple. Therefore a branch needs to appear in the next 2-3 years at most to build it. Then later according to Revelation both branches show up once the temple is desecrated. The Branches are also the witnesses of Revelation.

So I would say one or both branches could be walking the world today.

The date depends on where you are standing and what hat you have on ! Year Zero is an idea put into practice by Pol Pot in Democratic Kampuchea that all culture and traditions within a society must be completely destroyed or discarded and that a new revolutionary culture must replace it starting from scratch. So is this boy the Messiah, no Yeshua is and he IS the messiah of the Jews and the eternal king upon David's throne.

I always wondered how the bunch that believes this, will agree on who the messiah is.
is it a democratic decision, is the institutios authority going to settle the debate, the media?

Will they use the latest tech to try and bring all believers on the same page when it comes to this figure?
Because as of now it seems to be like there are more pages on that figure, than in the bible.
