Can I ask for prayers for whats going on?

Not religious in any traditional sense, but you have my compassion and prayers too . My rent it only $500 a month and with the skyrocketting bills I still have very little left monthly. I'd have lost my sanity if I'd had to move when my kids were little as rents start well above this. This sucks for you, both stupid rules and terrible timing with xmas coming up.

How much time has your landlord given you? Can you ask them to do a month to month rent until you find something in your budget?

I've noticed around here when there are situations like this, some people reach out on fb for houses to rent often on behalf of others who aren't membes. It's worth a try as there are also landlords who don't really want to filter through applicants and would like to know it's someone in need.

Yeah, they agreed to do month to month, but we just found a place and paid the deposit yesterday, and will be moving Saturday. Anything not moved by the end of the day I'll toss in the storage unit and just pay on that while I move stuff to the new place.

Having faith when in need, losing faith when well-fed? Are you also one of those people that will only ask for prayers and help but when they can already share the given blessings to them, they seem blind and selfish? Hmmm, reconsider that question before even demanding such prayers from other people.

Still, if you have faith that God is with you, then why not pray to Him? Is this a sign that you are truly not faithful? Think of it.
