Can I ask for prayers for whats going on?

Our landlord is not renewing our lease because we have too many children for the number of bedrooms. We're already stretched thin, and now we have to move. The deposits and such will total 2000 and rent will be 50% more than were paying now. I have faith that God is with us, I'd just appreciate prayers.

Hmm that doesn’t sound right is there no way you can appeal the decision?
Surely your landlord must realise your children will in fact be worse off when your rent goes up 50%?

I hope you can find a way through this.

It's a legal thing here. We can't have more than two people per bedroom.

Hopefully someone at your church will come to your rescue. Any NPO'S that can help you. What country are you in ?

Right and whoever thought of that law considers it better to be out on the street with no bedrooms?

Sorry about your situation, the so called “authorities” in most nations have completely lost the plot it seems, they blatantly don’t give a toss about the people they are supposed to represent.

In 2005 my house burned to the ground. It took over 1 year for insurance to pay due to various investigations...

We lost everything, meanwhile my daughter was fighting for her life in the hospital. This was a nightmare.
My daughter's life fought for years. Today she is 100% disabled but alive and happy.

Anxiety, depression and suicide chased me everyday for over a year.

Not once did I question my faith or God.

Life is truly a test. This rock does not give justice to all. This planet offers pain and suffering for all.

Often we can not understand God due to the mysterious of God.

Heavenly Father I ask for your mercy and grace for Jeremiah and his family.

Stay positive and strong brother, your family needs you.

Holy Spirit steer Jeremiah and his family to a new home. One that brings comfort and joy to him and his family. I ask you go to Jeremiak without delay and protect him and his family. Remove the fear, anxiety and depression from them all.

All the glory and praise to you Father, master Jesus and to the Holy Spirit.

Yes. Please start with your church. My church has assisted many of our members with this problem, and a few that were not members.

I know personally of at least 4 families that have taken in members due to unexpected homelessness, because they had the room and they wanted to help.

I know many people don't want to hear this, but it is not the responsibility of the government to provide food and shelter to the residents. It is also not the government's job to cause this fiasco either.

It says in the Bible it is the churches responsibility take care of the widow and the children. They can't do it all, but with the number of churches we have in America, they can help many.

Of course those in need are primarily responsible for themselves and are expected to assist in their care, and to give back to the church. It is not a free ride. It is to provide stability in the community.

The problem we have with many of the homeless in America, is that they choose to be homeless and have no desire to work or build inside a community.

They are not builders. They are destroyers of themselves and everything around them. Those that fall on hard times and want help, are usually the ones that make communities stronger as they grow.

As I read the word this morning and listened to Spurgeon I was drawn to this page with your request. It is no small thing to ask help of Jehovah. David in Psalms 9 asked for vengeance upon his enemies, and yet in that chapter we find this: Psalms 9:18
For the needy shall not always be forgotten, 
Nor the expectation of the poor perish for ever.

You have faith. Your hope is well being for your children. The substance/aka the result of that hope is
well being for your children. Indeed you have my prayer and I will put you on my daily list.

God bless you n family. There are resources out there. Church, Synagogues, Temples. Go there 1st.

They WILL help you. Then try public, private, community orgs.

It's not much...but they will get on it now for you...don't delay.

Prayers w you...have faith. Jesus already has saved you here....
